Sorry for a bit of absence everyone. I've had a heck of a week! I had a bit of a health drama involving a visit to the ER....

. But all that is past now and today is our 3rd wedding anniversary

. I can't believe it's gone by so quickly, feel like we got married yesterday.

for those of u guys who are married, do u still celebrate both dating and wedding anniversaries? We've been together 8 years and hubby says it's time we only celebrate the wedding anniversary. Thought i get u guys' input too

I really like both of these pinks, and of course the popsicle/jam color Exces, and probably every other color she reviews.

Happy Anniversary to both of you! The hubby and I actually got married on our first date/dating Anniversary so I guess we sort of celebrate both? If it were any other day, we'd just celebrate the wedding date.

Well, after 31 years - yep we LOVE to celebrate the day we met (St. Patty's Day) almost more than our Wedding day Anniversary.

Its always felt so special to us.

Happy Anniversary, girl!! I hope you're feeling better.

We still celebrate both anniversaries. We began dating two days before Christmas and we always do a little something special, even if it's just dinner or a movie...and we always wish each other a happy anniversary. My mother thinks it's silly, but I think it's nice to remember the beginning.

We're going on 10 years this year, and we stopped celebrating the dating anniversary quite some time ago. I may remember it now and then, but don't really bother to formally acknowledge it. Besides, just getting in the odd dinner now and then without the kids is an accomplishment!

I make a big deal of our wedding anniversary though!

Btw Shadowy, hope you're all better and whatever it was, it wasn't serious.

Sooo...first a HUGE thanks to Karin, love me some Nouvelle Vague!!

I could paint my nails with it right away, but my thumb nail has Paradoxal and little finger has Jade Rose and I want to look at them a bit before I wipe them off. So yes, I went to see the fall collection today.

I was so good, I bought just the two that were on my list - Enigma and Taupe Grisé. They are hotness! But let me tell you it was hard to pass those others.

Rose Dilemma is the most beautiful glossimer in a long time! My heart cried when I left it there, but like I said in some of the Mac collection threads, I'm trying to buy less lip products for a while.

Cassis was very pretty, but I have a Clinique liner that I think is very close to it so I left it too. I talked myself out of the flesh coloured eye khol.

Vert Khaki was quite green on me, I expected it to be more brown. Very pretty, this I might pick up later. It was very sparkly. I like sparkle.

PE was a glitter explosion - I loved it!! Big silver glitter on a hot pink base, wow!! But, I left it too because I'm trying to be good now. And that brush that comes with it bothers me too much.

Jade Rose - lovely pinky nude. Paradoxal - lovely deep greyish purple. I had a hard time leaving these too.

Uuh aagh iigh ough those new Rouge Allure glosses are going to kill me! I loooove Insolence. But I want Imaginaire lipstick under it too. Low-buy-lip time is no fun. Maybe if I really quickly buy these and RD, rush and throw them in my stash, like if they were there all along, nothing new? Could that work?

Somebody teach me to cheat myself.

Yay, enjoy Nouvelle Vague! I think it will be so much fun in the winter...it's not too bright, but it's not pastel, either.

It's so beautiful Shypo! I love the way it looks the combination eyes-lips. I don't know obviously, but when you say it may be your camera, did it "eat" part of the colour? I truly believe it's a lovely look, thank you very much for sharing!

Thank you, Almus - yes, it seems to not really capture the color intensity. Could just be the lighting too......for instance, my shirt is definitely purple, but it's showing up more blue in the photos....and my blush never shows up, but you can definitely see it IRL. Plus, I don't really look like that

I think those colors are gorgeous on you! It really makes your eye color pop & look so pretty. Love the lips.

Do you wish that the darker shade in the Misty Duo had a lil more of the violet color & not quite so dark/smokey?
