Okay this is going to be long.

I am seriously lemming for Paradoxal. Yesterday in the store I was like meh! I don't need it. But now I NEED it, I feel asleep thinking of it. Woke up thinking of it. They better still have it this Thursday when I go back, I missed out on Particuliere so I really want this one.

What do you all think of the duos. I've never even swatched a Chanel shadow but I only buy pigmented shadows. Sheer is stupid. I'm thinking of getting the Bleu-Tendre one.

Opinions on the Chanel Inimitable Intense Mascara, particularly the purple one? I'm hesitant because I truly believe drugstore does a better job.

Cassis, I wasn't wowed at all. Possible cheaper dupes to make my brown eyes pop?

Shopping yesterday I only focused on cheeks and lips so I got. Pink teaser, Pink explosion and Phoenix.

Pink Teaser is just a divine natural pink on me.

Pink explosion smells FANTASTIC! I like the texture. I saw someone wrote they didn't like the brush? Why is that? IMO they are far superior to any other brands, even though I probably won't use it. I tend to have a pretty heavy blush hand but this colour is so subtle I can't possibly over apply.

Phoenix is just gorgeous. No explanation needed.

When I go back I'm definitely going to get Plum Attraction because it was a nice contour for darker skin. Paradoxal because I want it. I need to try Rose Dilemma and then whichever shadows float my boat.

I've always understood that not all brands work for WOC but the fact that Chanel's does makes a huge difference in my respect for the brand. YSL has beautiful formulas but I've yet to find a pink I like.

I've felt like this before over makeup! It's a sure sign you need Paradoxal!

The duos are really pigmented and creamy when I swatched them. I don't own any yet so I can't tell how well they wear on my eyes. I think Cheryl and elegant can help you on the duos.

It's so funny that you mentioned how nice Pink Explosion smells as the main point! I love the scent of a fresh new JC! Can't wait to get my PE!

. I love the scent of RALs too, although I dislike the scent of the RA lipsticks.

GAH!!!! I'm having no luck with Berry/Rose and Gris/Subtil. I don't know what it is - I'm having the same issues as I had with Misty/Soft. I've wiped off my eye makeup 3 times now. I've tried with an invisible primer, and with different colored primers underneath. It's almost as if the lighter color has zero pigment, just a hint of color. And for me, that's a real bummer.

Too much of my lid color is showing through - I can't seem to get any coverage!!

So I guess now 3 of them are going back - I did not have these issues with the lighter side of Taupe/Delicat or Khaki/Clair, and those colors are much lighter in tone than any of the other 3. I'm just disgusted. And disappointed. I don't want to have to combine a bunch of colors or pack on layer after layer to achieve the result (why not just use a quad?).

Back they go!

I'm hoping I have better luck with the Dior quint - I haven't tried either of the new fall ones yet, but will probably break them out this weekend. I'm mad at Chanel at the moment

So, to make up for my disappointment I ordered a couple of Cargo blushes that have gotten good reviews....before they're gone too. Another one bites the dust! Not that I need more blushes.....it's not about need....

Karin, your post just took me back into time! I loooved Vamp when it came out, funny to think it was so "alterative" back then!

Sooo, I am now the proud owner of Ming allure laque! It was one of those items I've wanted for a while, but... so many LE things that I've resisted. Well when Miss QQ mentioned how much she loved it and how nice it looked on, that definitely did me in! Got the last one.

And... in the drawer stacked oh so neatly were the new glosses! Not on display yet, but the girl helping me was from a different counter, so my usual SA's weren't there. I'll have to go back when they are, lol!

Hehe! Every brand has its hits and misses i guess, though we were all so hopeful with these new duos!

Ya, Ming is very pretty, and I also picked up BB's Graphite Shimmer Ink gel liner, and the two together with Pink Explosion on the cheeks I think will make for a super super pretty and basic look. I love small hauls. And they're going to get even smaller, because I got my cc bill this month, and let's just say it wasn't pretty. Nothing for me till it's all paid off.

Yeah, I'm a little peeved Chanel got rid of the free shipping with any order. Having to spend $150 in order to get free shipping is what is holding me back from getting another Vamp...not that I need any more polishes.

I just recently purchased my first ever Chanel soft touch eyeshadows in taupe grise and vert khaki. I'm in

they are super soft, pigmented and simply gorgeous shades. If you love sumptuous olive and smoke & diamonds from MAC you'll love these =D

I think a lot of the new things are perm - the new glosses are supposed to be I believe, as well as the duos. And I think, but am not certain, that Enigma might be perm as well.....

Hey Lou! Yep, Enigma is perm! I was told the glosses are limited edition, but they aren't showing as such on the site. Plus, they're all still in stock, so I think you'll be good. The only thing that went quickly was Pink Explosion blush, which was LE.

Such a bummer their free shipping is over on the Chanel site. Seriously, for their prices, they should offer complimentary shipping!

I used a code a while ago for free shipping: 0610NYLON and I have no idea if it will still work because the Chanel site is having probs for me right now and won't let me access my shopping bag. Let me know if it works for any of you!
