I have 4 of the RC's and they are all buildable to the desired pigmentation. That's what drew me to the formula to start with. I prefer RC's to RA's.

Confidence, Insolence, Exces, Fatale

Fatale is a true deeper red - doesn't look plumy like that on, but it is the base color that makes it a deeper red.

I am loving Confidence! AGH! The teeny swatch of it on Chanel's site looks more pink. Does this shade have a hint of purple to it?

has anyone tried the Chanel Mat Lumier foundation?

if you have , what are your thoughts on it? what is the coverage like, and would you recommend it? (i have normal cheeks, slightly oily t-zone)

and are the skin care products worth it? or would i be better off using something else? (new to skincare in general, but want to start taking care of my skin)

I haven't tried that foundation. Chanel's skincare imho is some of THE best there is! A lil pricey, but it lasts a long time. I would go to your counter (if you can) & talk with them & get as many samples as you can to see what your skin likes. I love their toner (green one).

These are all of the colors I want eventually (plus Imaginaire, I think). I'm over the moon in love with Exces in both color and formula areas. For anyone on the fence, I think if you like MAC's Cremesheen Glasses you'll love these glosses! They feel awesome on the lips and the colors are gorgeous. Plus, the packaging is glorious and feels like such luxury. I can't wait to get more!

I just ordered Steel...excited to get it! I'll wait out the quad and lipstick and hope for swatches before they're gone, and if they don't make it home to me it just wasn't meant to be.

I've been fighting the flu (blah!) for about a week now, but I'm feeling SO much better this morning it's like the clouds have parted. Finally!

I've used the Mat Lumiere... Before I switched to Temptu S/B, it was my go to foundation.

It gives a really pretty skin, matte but luminous. Gives you the Chanel glow. It feels great on your skin. If your T zone it's not really too oily, you'll be fine with it (I switched because mine it's too oily and too dry and didn't last on me for more than 6 hours). You can either ask for a sample or ask your SA to test it on your skin and see for yourself.

As far as skin care, it depends on what your needs are. Chanel it's great on moisturizing and anti aging products, but not so much on oil control and blemishes. The first signs of age line, it's great (aimed for 25-30 or even 35 years old girls). As the line it's pricey, I'd suggest asking for samples too.

Oh I know, I meant the baby blue will be put out with Jade Rose for spring. Which seems to keep getting released, maybe they made too many and it's not selling? Personally I'd love to see Jade released again because I missed it the first time.

Thanks for the pic, Elegant! So gorgeous. I have Insolence, Confidence, and Imaginaire on my list! How do you like Confidence compared to Ming? Do you like one more than the other? I really need to order a few -- I just ordered the Enigma quad on a glossimer last week, so I have to space my orders a bit (the hubs wonders why in the world I am always "needing" more makeup lol)

OMG, this is an amazing picture! I'm loving Exces and Fatale, but of course I'm partial to bold shades.

I'm gonna get Fatale l/s and gloss soon. The combo is lovely on

. Fatale l/s looks a lot like Nars Afghan Red which is a fave of mine. But I wear Afghan Red frequently enough to justify having Fatale too

Thanks sweetie, I'm much better. This long weekend is helping me restore too. Did some shopping and spending more of my time watching movies with the hubby while cuddling under the blanket

Thank you, I thought Holts had the gloss already! I don't go into Holts unless I need YSL though

. I really wanna check out the khaki nail polishes though so I hope to see them there.

On me, Ming is more Rosey Pink & Confidence is more Mauvey. They do seem similar. I really like them both, but I think that I prefer Confidence as its a bit more pigmented.
