Those of us with counters are quite spoiled. I should have some time this week...I could go on a Chanel foundation swatching adventure a la Karlasugar.

I really can't wait to see swatches of the Stupendous quad! I'm finding it difficult to forget, and knowing me...that means I need to buy it before it turns up somewhere else seriously overpriced and I buy it anyway.

Oh, before I forget! I know a few of you were looking for a new plummy pink lipstick and I have a candidate to toss your way. I was at a MAC counter today (imagine that, lol) and happened to play with a ton of perm lipsticks. I'm also looking for a great plummy pink and I think I may have found it with Hot Gossip. It's a Cremesheen (love!) and was really calling to me. I didn't get it...yet, but I know it'll be in my next LE order.

After trying out Clair eye pencil I am seriously thinking about getting another crayon khôl from Chanel and maybe I should get Cassis. But I have a question regarding this last one, is it easly blendable? I'd like to use it also in the "lazy days" when I am just so lazy (or in a rush) to do other thing than get my upper lash line coloured and some blending up in the lid.

I am so excited to watch all your Soho goodies swatches!

I finally got the Enigma quad and I really need to get the Mystic Eyes quad, too. I have so many shadows -- I guess that is why I have been concentrating more on the Chanel lippies and glosses. But I am a sucker for quads/palettes!

I am the same. Sometimes I think I don't need it, and then I am kicking myself for missing out! I really want to see the swatches first -- hopefully everything not sold out before we see what it looks like.
I love how Hot Gossip looks in that swatch! I have it and it looks hot pink on me for some reason -- maybe because I use it with Pink Treat liner. I need to try it out again!

Thanks! Can't wait for the swatches. The top two colours look very close in the pics.

I was at another Chanel counter today as work ended early and I had to visit the counter before going home.

I swatched Jade and Marine e/l and they are so pretty. I also swatched Insouciante RA and it is more brown than Mythic, which is very pale. Insouciance Extrait de gloss is to complement its lipstick right? They are the same colour.

And I swatched Genie, Liberte and Imaginaire side by side but I forgot to swatch Petite Peche. This pic was taken using my iPhone when the glosses were freshly swatched (in that order).

This was taken with a proper camera but after 45 mins of traveling, which included siding at a bus stop by a very dusty road for 25 mins waiting for the bus! If we ignore the bubbles and tiny black spots of dirt, the colours here are more accurate.

I didn't buy Super RA from the summer collection. Is Insolent RA a close dupe? I have this feeling Insolent is brighter. Unfortunately the counter didn't have Super for me to compare as it was sold out.

I thought Insolent RA was a weird neon kinda bright in comparison to Super which is a regular pigmented brighter pink - if that makes sense. Maybe Insolent would look ok once its on the lips, but it just didn't do it for me.

Cheryl, still thinking of you. Hope you're doing alright considering.

This morning was the first day of school for my little man. It was a new school, and there were a ton of students in the yard. He's usually a really outgoing friendly little guy, but today he was so scared and he just stuck to me with a really sad look on his little face.

It was hard saying good bye. I was a bit of a mess. Tomorrow will be my baby girl's first day of kindergarten, ugh, that'll be tough too.

Thanks Megan! That is the exact lipstick I ended up choosing! Great minds think alike! I have yet to go b2m for it, but at least I now have the empties in my car.

Insolent looks very bright when swatched, but I didn't try it on my lips. Now I really want Super.
