I think maybe Chanel pulled a MAC at Bloomingdales online where they listed the Soho stuff days earlier than they had it with no intention of really shipping until 9/7? Another order I placed days later also shipped yesterday along with my Soho order. That might explain why they had no idea how much they really had of things and started cancelling orders once they had to actually fill them? Who knows, but poorly handled in any case.

well, do you think they will restock the items - they do that but in limited quantities.?

Chanel is a very closed company -- and with typical French attitude -- buy it or not, just shut up and pay up ..lol.
I did cancel my order (out of my own aggravation cause I don't like to work so hard for any makeup, as it is after all not an asset but a simple accoutrement which is here today, and gone tomorrow) -- that said, they still have not credited my account, and as of today I still have my order "being processed" -
- no way to tell what their arrogance will do and no answers to emails or to phone calls....
from now on, anything Chanel will be purchased directly or thru a major dept store.. if not, I can live without it..

off topic but less drama: I did purchase two lippies from the new NARS Matte collection (Tashkent and Bangkok.. no joke, lol).. but these apply like a dream and give a pouty sexy mouth

They might, once they get the orders all sorted out and shipped. My third order with my glossimer shipped, so maybe it was just the orders with the quad that were cancelled because of overselling.

Can't wait to see the glossimer swatch! I kinda have a thing for the glossimers. I really want Rose Comete l/s -- and that Star glossimer looks like it would be gorgeous on top of RC!

I just opened my order from Chanel (of course, I placed it before the Soho collection was out, whatevs). The new gift packaging is a little black drawstring bag instead of the black box. It's cute, but not as chic as the black box. If any of the rest of you got the gift packaging you'll have to let me know if it is the box or bag.
And, my first Chanel quad . . . I finally ordered the Enigma quad and can't wait to play with it ASAP! Do you think it is bad to show up to my daughter's preschool with a full on smokey eye?? lol I went ahead and got the Waterlilly glossimer, too, since I've had my eye on it forever and it has been sold out everywhere else besides Chanel.com
I can't wait to see all of your Soho swatches! But it might just make me regret not getting that quad. Luckily there are tons of Chanel products I can get to take my mind off of it!
