I called around the Toronto area to inquire about both the Soho collection and Les Khaki. As far as the SA knew at the Holts closest to me, only the downtown location would be getting the Soho collection. As for Les Khaki, that seems to be up in the air still, the boutique said sometime in October.

Saadeh, it doesn't look promising, but iirc, there is a Holt's in Ottawa. Seems to me that we're getting really slim pickings here.

I'm hoping that some of the larger department stores will get Les Khakis. Neiman's and Saks are both having their beauty event. Neiman will give you free shipping at any price. I'd like to avoid buying from Chanel for this round since I'm ordering so many multiples for CPs. I don't want to get blacklisted. :/

OK so all of the khaki polishes, plus Paradoxal and that other polish...I forget the name...have made it on my wants list as of 8pm est. time. And I'm seeing a lot of talk about Jade. I'm glad that was before my time or I'd be upset.

And I want that Soho powder compact so so bad. Gah! I have so much stuff to buy. This is getting to be insane. After Tarten I'm going to chill out for real. No, really I'm going to.

Yeah Lancome.com has the matte lippies AND Macy's does also (online and in store). I liked the formula, they didn't have colors that blew me away that were any different than my current collection but they wore very nicely! I'm curious to try the NARS ones now!

Oh and I should be getting my box today woot!!! All this damn tropical weather went to messing everything up, it was fun earlier today having to corral customers in a corner since we had a Tornado warning when I was at work!

Because Chanel are such idiots, the order that was supposed to have been cancelled has now shipped.....meaning if anyone didn't get the nail polish but wanted to, I have an extra of each (and an extra of the powder) and will sell them at cost plus shipping to you.....just let me know. ^^ I would take them C ~~ but I just looked at my account and Chanel has been paid, but I still don't have confirmation/shipping or anything at all from them, so I might just wind up with doubles of everything too! ... I looked on the Saks site, and the WHOLE Chanel section was poofed.. with an apology from Saks about the fiasco.. lol. This whole episode is unreal

It's such a catch-22 - you love the products, but you hate what you have to go through to get them!

The knot-head on the phone yesterday said to me 'ok, so I'll cancel this order and you can place a new one' (I had ordered the wrong color of a RA that I wanted to change, but of course, you can't change orders after you place them

)...had I known that it wasn't going to be cancelled, I would have simply returned the item that I didn't want, rather than placing a whole new order. Now that I think of it, I'm going to call and raise a ruckus. This is annoying beyond words. I know I can return everything, but I'm out the bucks for the time being, and have to go through the hassle.

Trouble is, even if you complain it doesn't change anything.

I'm still getting the 404 error message on the brand link at NM. All the other companies like NM, SAKS, Nordies get a 'direct feed' right from Chanel for what you see on their websites.

Like ISa said, if I can't get it through a major retailer, I may just not get it. The trouble with THAT is that the major retailers don't always have all the colors of something -

I know, I have had 3 Chanel Lipsticks in my cart that have said backordered for like 3 months at NM. So yeah, it is hard to get some things unless I drive quite a ways away.

Thanks Nora, yeah we do only have one Holts here. I love living in Ottawa but we get the last end of everything, you think ppl would be nicer to the Capital

I'm gonna call my Holts and ask them too, I'm not too excited about the Soho collection but I want Les Khaki polishes.
