I picked up Genial yesterday. It looks amazing with MUFEs l/l in #18. I also set up an appointment for a skin care consultation. When I hit my 40s my skin started misbehaving for the first time in my life and I need to get on a good program. Also I am a sunscreen fiend and I am interested in UV Essential. Can someone give me some feedback on this one?

I have UV essential and it is lightweight for a SPF 50 product. I use it after my moisturizer and skip my face primer. I like it.

Is Genial the lipstick that is worn on the models in the s/s 2010 haute couture show? It looks so gorgeous on them!

I made my 'Saturday Night Beauty Run' last night to the local Macy's Chanel counter (they now know me by name

- not sure that's a good thing!) and picked up Comedia RA as well as Aqualumiere sheer lip color in Stresa - it is SO pretty! Very sheer, of course, but the color is beautiful! I like having something in my bag that is 'just a little color' - and this will be perfect for summer!

I LOVE LOVE Genial!!! Its so pretty. I've been grabbing Super or Genial almost every day to wear.

Yes - I recomment the UV Essential very much. I understand the misbehavin older skin

but mine has become lovely since going completely Chanel for all my skin care

Well, I bought the base primer (Shontay's Primer) which makes the skin look so lovely, but then when I used the UV Essential I LOVED the silky but no feel on the skin & it gives the most soft diffused matte look to the skin - & I swear it improved the over-all even color tone to the skin! Of course every one's skin is different, but I noticed a real difference using the UV. Plus, I love to protect my skin from the sun.

The only down side is the size of the bottle. And, if you get it - be sure that you shake it first! I did not & it squirted out the top & I lost a lil product.

I want Stressa too! I pick that particular color out of all the display tubes every time I go to a Chanel counter - so I must pick it up.

I am getting Super and Genial, as I don't think I can pass them up. I originally called Nordstrom to see if they have them (because for some annoying reason they don't have them listed on their site) and the girl who answered said they didn't have them. So I went online to Chanel.com to order them, and they're on backorder. In the meantime, I called my fave MUA back at Nordstrom to have her check, since I thought the girl who answered before seemed a bit clueless, and my MUA found them. Yay! Except now, I have to cancel my Chanel.com order (and no one is answering the phone at their 800 number). What a pain.

But worth it in the end, as I'll get these beauties on Saturday!!

Y'all talked me into them!

I can't believe I hadn't touched it before now......I always gravitate toward my favorite colors

....maybe I thought I wouldn't be interested in the sheer formula, but I have to say I LOVED the swatch on my hand....didn't try it on my lips because I was in a rush.....but it puts me in mind of Phlox, but with more pink. Woo hoo!

boo And, I don't know if its just me, but their site annoys me too as it just doesn't seem consumer/shopping friendly.

Aghh, Stressa is not on their site or Neiman Marcus? I know that our saks & macys has it but I would rather order it from either one of those online.

Stressa looks really pretty on the Nordies swatch. Wish I could wear lips products with SPF wihout getting nauseous.

I checked, just Vamp. I had Lilac Sky l/s but rarely wore it, so I sold it off. The only purple-ish polishes I have are Sensuelle and Vendetta.

IMO, Chanel's swatches are worse than MAC's. I'd do a search. All Lacquered Up, Scrangie or one of those is bound to have a swatch.

I'll probably acquire Lilac Sky some day. But since it's part of the permanent collection, I'm in no hurry.

I'm not a huge traditional pink polish fan, but there's just something about Chanel's pink polishes. I

them. I have a bunch of 'em, too...most of my Chanel polishes are some variation of pink!

I got Lilac Sky last week. It's very pretty. Kind of like Mistral in that it would be even prettier if the shimmer in the bottle showed up more on the nails, but it's still pretty either way.
