So glad you're back! I know what the deadlines are like - the last several weeks have been

at work.....and now I'm getting ready to change jobs (within the same company) so a whole new level of agita starts.....

On a different (shopping) note, after much caterwauling with folks at Chanel, I broke down and bought Lumieres Facettes, the Demure quad, and Imaginaire glossimer. I won't even go into my online experience

but I must be a complete dope. I've learned a lot about the quirkiness of the Chanel site, and despite my head-banging frustration managed to have 2 extremely helpful customer service reps (yes, I did manage to get someone on the phone after holding for 20 minutes).

I'm VERY excited for the new duos - I wonder when they're going to be released here in the states?

I'm curious about the duos. Which one are you interested in? Are they replacing Irreelle Duo? I have Orient-Express and River-Light, but I never just use either one duo for a look because I need a highlight shade.

Today I was at the counter and we don't have Dreams quad.

The SA told me that Legende Rouge Coco is the best selling l/s currently. Any of you have Legende? Is it good? I didn't buy it because I thought it is too frosty and red but I swatched it today and it's pink! I also swatched Comedia which is more yellow pink beside Legende. So many lipsticks in my wishlist, I don't know which to pick!

I think the Dreams quad was discontinued awhile ago. Most of the MUA reviews of it are from 2005-6. You can find them on ebay tho.

I'm not sure if they're replacing the IDs......I like the silver/grey one, the plummy one, and the sort of burgundy one. I have Orient-Express too, Flash-Back, and Desert-Rose, and sometimes use the highlight from the latter two. I also prefer to have a highlight color (I usually wash it over my entire lid area to make the crease color blend smoothly).

I have Legende (Elegant does as well) and it's beautiful! I have been wearing it a lot - it's actually quite neutral on me (NW20/25) - not neutral in the 'nude' sense, but it's not an in-your-face pink color and it ends up coordinating with whatever makeup I have on, or whatever I'm wearing. It's the first RC I got!

Shadowy Lady, others, I've never tried the RA Laques so I'm interested in this as well - can someone also give some feedback on how they like them in general? Thanks!!

I got my order today of Comedia RA lipstick and Courtisane glossimer. They are both gorgeous! On me, they look like a medium rosy golden pink. So pretty! If you check the giftwrap box -- you get a complimentary black chanel box with a ribbon. So fun to open!

I have Legende, but have yet to wear it! To me it doesn't appear frosty, but has more of a sheen.

I tried Super today, and must say this colour, though shockingly bright in the tube, is suprisingly pretty on! I didn't apply it full on, but did dab it on enough to fully cover my lips. Added Futile glossimer over it and it looked rather pretty. However, I didn't end up keeping it on, because I already had a full face of mu on, including the kaska beige quad and impervu blush, and it just didn't go imo. I think it's more the type of colour to use with minimal eye mu and maybe some bronzer on the cheeks!

That's so funny! I have yet to try my Kaska Beige quad - I am generally in a 'pink' mood, and have to wait for brown/neutral moods (strange, I know!

). Maybe I'll give it a go this weekend!

Update: I received my 2 orders today - Demure and Lumieres Facettes are just beautiful!! Can't wait to try them! I am on the fence about Maldives and Grenada lipsticks.....I'm not sure they'll be enough 'oomph' for me, but we'll see. The Imaginaire glossimer is

I haven't done my nails with Mistral yet either. Like you, it always seems like its the end of the day by the time I get around to it & I don't like to do my nails right before I go to bed. But, boy is it pretty in the bottle!!! I will do my nails in it for Mother's Day

Yummy! Sounds really good - I'm glad summer is approaching as that's one of my favorite things to fix!

Ming is a neutral pink while Santal is peachy beige. If you want a nude shade that goes with everything and dramatic eyes, you can get Santal. Ming goes on a soft, girly pink on me. Check out Karla's swatches.

Let me know how you end up liking Maldives. When I first got it, I wasn't sure about it either. I have used Maldives with lots of different glosses and have loved the outcome. If you have MAC Nymphette, Love Nectar, or Nars Turkish Delight -- they all look great on top of Maldives. Depending on what lipliner/gloss I use -- I get a really pretty peachy pink colour! But my lips aren't really pigmented -- so maybe it shows up more on me?
Maybe I need to put Imaginaire on my list!!

It's soo gorgeous!!

I usually love all Chanel collections but summer is the one usually interests me less of the four. This time Summer has exceeded all my expectations!! It looks like a totally inoffensive pretty collection... but God, it's soo beautiful!!

The three nail polishes are beyond pretty. I thought I could walkaway safely from Mistral, that it was just another pretty soft pink, but I no longer think so!! I thought Riviera was another pretty hot pink that Chanel uses to release on summer, but I was unable to find among my more +300 nailpolishes or my +60 Chanel ones, one like it!!

The bronzers are pure cream... so soft, finely milled and glowy!!

The glosses are way too pretty to ignore them. The fluo ones are really similar to the ones previously released, but I'm so getting them anyway!!

The best of the collection?? Super and Genial Rouge Alloure lippies!!

Those are the prettiest lippie shades I have seen in a while!!

Of course, Nouvelle Vague it's the kind of shade, just like Jade that will be remembered for a long, long time!!

I didn't get the collection though, it's waiting for me at a different counter!!

What Lumieres Facettes did you get?

On the Duos... I have no idea hun. As I've seen them in the french site, my guess is they have released them, there already. Which is weird because things are always released first at the states. Hope we'll find out soon!!

I do believe the new duos are replacing the Irreelle ones!! If you go to the french site, the only duos available are the new ones!!

I'm kinda excited for the chocolate-vanilla one!! I think those are two shades that always come in handy!!

So sorry you didn't find the Dreams quad!!

RA Laques are pure lust and luxury!!

They're creamy, very pigmented, not drying, opaque but shiny. They're really comfortable to wear. It's like liquid, creamy lipstick on your lips.

Surprisingly, I don't own many colors and none of the asked by Shadowy!!

I thought it would be nice to kill some time (insomniac, can't sleep tonight) reading the Chanel thread, and now...well now I have a list of about 11 things that I have to try.

Off to cut down my MAC lists for the next few collections to make room for Chanel!

Bonitinha, thank you for the suggestions - I will give these a try with Maldives - I have the glosses you mentioned, and my lips are not all that pigmented either, so I have high hopes!

Hypathya, I can't believe you haven't seen Demure!

I didn't realize the LF came in colors - since the only one available on the Chanel site is the one I got, I thought it was some sort of limited edition 'one of' kind of thing....the color I got is #517 Oasis. It's really pretty with a sort of golden olive, a golden peach, a really pretty pink, and a sort of golden bronze color.

Sometimes I hate to try my new shadows because they look so pretty I don't want to disturb them!

Camnagem, let us know what your list looks like!! Hopefully you're able to get some sleep - we're the 'enabling crowd'
