See swatches and pics of the new quads! And also the foundation and concealer compact. I'm going to examine the swatches now. :)

I briefly read the post and look at the swatches. The 9 quads are grouped into 3 different themes, 3 quads in each theme. This is a weak attempt to translate the info. There is the androgenous/boyish look (#4, 5, 7), the striking look (#1, 2, 3) and the sexy aristocratic look (#5, 8, 9). Coincidentally, I examined the swatches before reading the text and I have 5, 8 and 9 in my wish list!

Oh my. I just bought 3 of the YSL wet/dry quads, which I LOVE - these might have to wait though..........but they're awfully gorgeous!!

"Les Gris" is about my favourite, although there's also one shade in "Les violets" that makes me purr. Might have to treat myself to one of these.

^^ Les Gris is the most attractive to me too. I wonder how the darkest green in Les Gris compares to the dark greens that chanel have been putting in her quads. If they are close I will pass because I have so many of the shades.

Cheryl - I hear you. Too many eyeshadows to play with at the moment! A few months ago it was the sheer lipsticks.

^^ I know! And if it's one thing I DON'T need, it's more eye shadows!! Not that I need more of ANY other cosmetic item.......

I got a look at the collection late last week. They had it on display at The Bay, although they weren't selling it yet. The quads look stunning and Gigolo is an absolutely amazing colour. Garconne is an excellent red, although I don't think it's particularly distinct from a lot of other reds out there.

Have you decided on which quad on want or are you passing? Guerlain is always slow to release new collections here, but I guess I'll be seeing them in the next couple of weeks.

Does anyone know if the new eyeshadow quads are the same size as the old quads? They look wider, but I'm not sure if that's just an optical illusion!

I'm hoping to get the Rouge G lipstick in Gigolo (70) assuming it's not too red. It's hard to know what a "rich plum" is going to look like until you see it in person.

I'm really being tempted by Les Boise de Roise. I've been looking for a highly pigmented "neopolitan ice cream" type eyeshadow palette. Hmm...expensive makeup...

I'm a huge Guerlain perfume fan but this would be my first foray into the brand's makeup although I've admired Temptalia's swatches of the lipsticks & bronzers.

They're pricey, but if you want to spoil yourself with something, this is the way to go. Their quality is generally stellar and that certainly seems to be the case with all the products in this launch.

Katred, let us know if you buy any of the quads or the fall items. I'm liking how les Bois de rose looks, and also les fumes, but I wonder if they will work on me. Les Gris is lovely, I just feel obliged to pass it because of the teal - I have lots of the shade, maybe not exact dupes and I don't use them much.

I stopped by my local counter and swatched a few of the quads quickly. Beautiful textures and colors, though perhaps a touch sheer. Regardless, there's just something about Guerlain that opens up my wallet. I'll probably splurge on a couple of these at some point. Any word on whether they are limited or here to stay?

I could be wrong, but I think the lipsticks are LE and the eyeshadow quads are permanent.

Hi girls!

I bought Bois de Rose, Les Noirs, and Les Perles.......they are all 3 stunning! BdR is my fave - probably not unique in terms of colors, but I just couldn't resist. The Les Noirs is the perfect smoky eye palette, and LP is soft and pretty, cool-toned, and I love the darkest (purple-y) color. I'm tempted by a couple of the others - it's so hard to decide because they're all beautiful!
