Trying to narrow it down from Les Fumes, Les Perles, Les Bois de Rose and Les Gris . . . aaaack, I'm doomed!

Of course, I don't have a Guerlain counter anywhere near me . . . so I will be ordering through Nordies (but yay that they do free shipping!!)

Does anybody know if Sephora will have these?

I am trying to tell myself that I dont need Les Fumes if I have Prelude and dont need Les Perles if I have Ombres Perlees.

Now I just need to come up with excuses for Les Bois de Rose, Les Gris and Les Verts.

Hi Bis!! The palettes are gorgeous - I just got another one today (bad, bad girl!!!) - Bois de Rose is still my fave, but I just got Fumes today and can't wait to use it.
hehe, they are really lovely :) I have Les Gris and I adore it! Really, great quad. Les Fumes is nice, but I have a smokey quad from MAC and the Smoky palette from MUFE. But I am severely tempted by Les Perles, the purple is gorgeous. The pink is making me wait, I have so many light pinks and never wear them :dunno:

You have the MUFE Smoky palette! How do you like it? I haven't seen it in person, and I was interested in it but the interest has died a little. Let us know at the MUFE thread. I'm liking Les Perles a lot more now too.

Hi MEG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So great to see you posting again!!! I've taken a bit of a break, but dash in now and again - we started the Ratonas thread in the Chatter section for all of our ramblings -

I'm so happy you're back!

Les Perles is really pretty too - not to enable, but I love the ones I've bought. I think I will check Gris out next - it's quite blue from what I recall. The purple one is pretty too. You really can't go wrong with any of them........

Meggy! C!

nice to see both of you on Specktra!

It is late for me but cannot sleep and the day was loooooong.. so just dropped in to say hi before I hit the sack.. tomorrow is another gruelling day (it's FW here).

I think I am liking the Noir palette more than the others.. and they are being used by some of the mua's working the shows today.

enjoy!

^^ Hi! Hope you had a good sleep to fuel you for the day. The Noir quad is rich and pigmented, but I guess I won't reach for it often.

Cheryl - You are tempting us with all the quads lol.

I swatched Perles, Bois de Rose and Fumes today again. Perles is beautiful. The shades remind me of chanel spring quint, but in a easier to work with texture. bis you are right, the purple is stunning! Good thing these are perm!

Hi Cheryl!!! Happy to be back, thanks!

I couldn't sleep and decided to do some online window shopping (shocking, lol). I have to get one of these quads, and I think I'm leaning towards Les Fumes for now. I really want to try a lipstick too, so I've been swatch hunting and that added a long list of possibilities!

Hi HG!!! I'm always up at strange times not sleeping (like now, lol). I hope you got some rest!

Ok Guerlain experts...tell me more about the lippies. Do you have a favorite formula? I need something really moisturizing and I've heard great things about the lip products from this brand. I have no idea where to start!

Hi Megan! I have 2 kisskiss lipsticks which are moisturizing, but I don't like the fruity scent. I haven't bought any Rouge Gs or RA too so not much help here.

I saw the new foundation & concealer compact and I am very impressed. The cream foundation turns to powder the moment I blend it lightly on my hand. It feels very light and almost moist. The concealer is richer but also turns powder-like upon blending. I need to try it more at the counter before buying, but at first impression I think it will be a great compact to have in any makeup pouch! The lightest shade is 10 and I think there are 6 shades.

I love Les Perles too! So eye-brightening.

^^ ITA!! Either LF or LP is a winner! I have 3 of the RAs and like them quite a bit - actually Katred is a fan as well, so you should check out her blog. She looks stunning in all of the colors she has! I love the formula too - they're a bit on the pricey side, but I really like them and always have at least one in my bag. Winthrop, how are you?! We haven't seen you over on the Ratonas thread - I've been wondering how you're doing! So, you like LP too huh? Isn't it just gorgeous? I can't get enough of it - I wish I could change my makeup look 3-4 times a day!!

Haha, yes, we probably have enough products to change our looks more than that daily! Miss you over in the Chanel forum. I don't always remember to go to the Ratonas thread...I guess I get lost in the Chanel threads and then googling all the Asia exclusives I'll never have from there.

I change my look during the day by changing my lip colour as it is the easiest to change. I always bring lipsticks and lipglosses with me. Here is the holiday meteorites review, it looks shimmery in her video. She compares it with other meteorites in the pics.

I like what she says about the effect but I'm not keen on heavily fragranced powders. I'm surprised I can get away with the Chanel JCs.
