Les Beiges de Chanel

So annoyed that a synthetic brush is $70, especially after it was rumored to be $50. But I want it, ugh!
crazy it is more than les beiges! I think C def took advantage of the popularity of the brush, it's prob their most costly brush, i believe - the guerlain one looks pretty similar, have never tried though!

You will LOVE that brush!

This is my head...quickly grab it and then examine it carefully! I got the E-mail about this powder & brush and sat talking to the E-mail. I said, "but Elegant didn't tell me about this one!" The hubs wanted to know what I was looking at and calling 'Elegant'. I said, "I meant to say informant---same difference". He walked away totally confused. So, I ordered the powder and the brush. Before I selected submit order I found this thread and added LESBEIGES for free overnight shipping. Big thanks to the CA (Chanel Addict) who posted that code because it was not in the E-mail from Chanel, but it worked!!!

I caved and ordered No. 30 and the kabuki brush. I'm a 40 beige in Vitalumiere and 60-70 beige in Perfection Lumiere. I know, weird the big color difference between the 2 foundations. Anyway, I'm hoping I bought the right color for me. Fingers crossed!
Good luck! I think 30 is dark enough for you.

I got #10 too! I think the slight pinkish tones will look amazing on you. Let us know what you think of it!

Can't wait for you to get it. I'm curious to know if 20 could work on me too.
Awesome! Thanks my dear. I may get the #20 as well if the shade is right.

Hi MissQQ -- I can't wait to test it out. I am hoping it is the right color match for me! Did you get the kabuki, too? I probably should have ordered it, too -- I just want to hear how it washes and wears over time. It is such a cute brush :)

Let me know how they both work for you! I got the free ship email on my phone and literally ran downstairs to the computer to order. Clearly, I need more things to get excited about in my life. Haha!!

Vitalumiere uses the old numbering and naming scheme which can be very confusing.

I'm a BR12 and shade 40 is usable as a bronzer on me.
Being that you're a 60-70 beige you could easily order a shade darker than 30.

Here's a comparison between Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 5.5 on the left, Les Beiges Shade 40 in the middle, and Mac Studio Fix Powder in NW25 on the right.

I still don't understand this powder.
I know!! I read it could be like a foundation + setting powder + bronzer! it seems like people are getting two shades, one to match skin + one as a bronzer - someone in AU said they are not having the traditional bronzers in the usual black case anymore, very confusing! as long as it makes me "glow" I'll take it!! also remember if you are a 40 in les beiges, C is doing the holiday gift set....not that anyone on here could wait that long! ha! does the 10 line, so 10, 30, 50 + 70 have pink tone? while the 20 line, so 20, 40 + 60 have yellow tone?

I love buying brushes and they are in my opinion the best investment, but this is too much... Especially if originally was supposed to be around 50

This is true. All of the "moisturizing" bronzing powders are going bye-bye.

Thank you for the comparison swatches! Now I wonder if I should have gone for Les Beiges in 40? Ughhhhh. What to do?!
