so I hauled more than I expected, i b2m for 2 lippies picked up: sk, rd, ss, tt and Hj.......I swatched and tried on all the lippies minus NO. I don't know if it was the very bright lighting in the store but most colors made me look washed out.. i figured maybe with lip liner and full face of makeup these would look better. ss was so pale, i looked like a zombie from the walking dead..so that was the only one i was on the fence about but picked it up to avoid skippers remorse..I loved TT and RD on me. Kinda annoyed that this batch of flamingo seemed nicer than the one i have from the last collection, more pink and less patchy. in the end i had the SA try HJ on me, i don't know why but she put like 6 layers on me..so when i got home hubz asked me why i had rubbed my cheeks with turmeric powder!
( and he was kinda right when i looked in the mirror there was just toooo much product there, so after aggressively buffing it out, it looked so much better and glowy - phew). i played with ss again this morning and i actually really like it for the daytime atleast for me the color shows up better lightly dabbed.
oh noticed a few changes in store.. SA sanitized each lippie very very well and noticed they no longer have the little jars of alcohol to dip in, instead they had sprays, lots and lots everywhere..i guess the riri thing has made them more careful. but im glad they made this change coz now we can sanitize powder products too instead of just wiping top layer with tissue like they used to.
i think this concludes my mac collection hauls for this part of the year except rrw (gasp i know)..now im going to focus on a few things from other brands on my wish list..thank you for everyone for all your wonderful swatches and opinions.
