Its so pretty on. So I ordered another one last night with the new Dior Coral bronzer/blush. I googled swatched of the bronzer & there is a girl wearing it & it looks Amazing on her.

so I hauled more than I expected, i b2m for 2 lippies picked up: sk, rd, ss, tt and Hj.......I swatched and tried on all the lippies minus NO. I don't know if it was the very bright lighting in the store but most colors made me look washed out.. i figured maybe with lip liner and full face of makeup these would look better. ss was so pale, i looked like a zombie from the walking dead..so that was the only one i was on the fence about but picked it up to avoid skippers remorse..I loved TT and RD on me. Kinda annoyed that this batch of flamingo seemed nicer than the one i have from the last collection, more pink and less patchy. in the end i had the SA try HJ on me, i don't know why but she put like 6 layers on me..so when i got home hubz asked me why i had rubbed my cheeks with turmeric powder! :shock:    ( and he was kinda right when i looked in the mirror there was just toooo much product there, so after aggressively buffing it out, it looked so much better and glowy - phew). i played with ss again this morning and i actually really like it for the daytime atleast for me the color shows up better lightly dabbed. oh noticed a few changes in store.. SA sanitized each lippie very very well and noticed they no longer have the little jars of alcohol to dip in, instead they had sprays, lots and lots everywhere..i guess the riri thing has made them more careful. but im glad they made this change coz now we can sanitize powder products too instead of just wiping top layer with tissue like they used to. i think this concludes my mac collection hauls for this part of the year except rrw (gasp i know)..now im going to focus on a few things from other brands on my wish list..thank you for everyone for all your wonderful swatches and opinions.

Yep, its really not that noticeable. I can tell that it's a bit creamier, pinker & has less sheen..but thats me.

Those spray bottles have been a newer thing. A few months newer actually, nothing to do with the RiRi thing. It's a way to save money, as every beaker of alcohol is dumped every night and refilled in the morning. This way it's filled full, and refilled when empty.

It sucked throwing out all that alcohol! Unfortunately the more that alcohol is exposed to air, the faster the strength of it deteriorates. Some artists aren't as diligent as others at keeping the beakers covered, nor are some people careful at cleaning products. The beakers and alcohol get gunked up with chunks of lipstick and liner. It's hard when you have 6 beakers of alcohol to fill/dump every day. That's a lot of alcohol to go thru! The worst part was when macys didn't have it in their budget to buy us alcohol, so for as long as a month we were using the same alcohol.

this is exactly what happened when i swatched the blushes on my hand. i also swatched immortal flower next to them and it was basically the colour it is in the pan. i had gone to the store wearing immortal flower for that reason -- on my face it looked much darker and slightly more red in it. the mua was surprised when i told her i had IF on my cheeks, because it looked so different.
i'm glad i decided to try RS on my face... i've tried HJ super quick this morning on my cheeks and it definitely shows up without repeated application or anything. i think probably more easily than IF. try them out in store if you get a chance!
i know...i felt that the rest of them i wasn't going to get much wear out of because i wouldn't feel comfortable. most of the more red-orange/peach shades don't work that well on my skintone because there isn't enough red/pink in my skin. and i don't want to buy lipsticks right now that i can only apply super carefully, with a liner and a primer and what not.... i don't mind doing that from time to time, but i just don't want to always have to....so tangerine dream it is! no liner required. swipe and go!

Immortal Flower looked much darker on my cheeks too. I think I see Royal Sunset in my future but I really should try these lip colors with all my other pinky coral blushes - Fleet Fast and Supercontinental come to mind. But I'll probably end up ordering Royal Sunset and Honey Jasmine.
