hmmm this is not what I imagined! don't really feel like I need it or even want it. which is good! lol I got both AG PMs and I love them both, glad I got them instead of waiting for this one! maybe I'll like the other one better but so far these PMs are no longer on my list to buy. hopefully I'll cross event remind when I see swatches! I need to cut back but I will be getting LW for sure and some if not all lip balms, I love them! I'm gonna pass on the pink glitter too.

Same here.
For me, I don't really care for that style of product. I know many people will adore it though because it looks so cutesy and cake like! =]

I only have backups of a couple lipsticks: strong woman, razzler dazzler, gaga1 and 2, and daddy's little girl. If I find a color I love and I have the money I will definitely buy backups. If I love lavender whip as much as I like nicki2 then I will probably backup that one too.

I agree if you really love the color I say get as many back ups as you want!!! MAC doesn't re-promote Lavender Whip like they do some other colors...So, I say get em'....I got three Girl Next Door l/s....and I will cop prolly 3 Lavender Whips.....I don't use my Quite Cute and Playtime from Quite Cute because, I didn't get backups of those!

Thanks!!! But oh no i like the pink one better but i already have veronicas pearlmatte so i figured i should get the coral pearlmatte from this collection but i dont like that design. I think im just getting that 1 lipstick.

I like to at least get one bu of colors I love. Cause I've lost and broke products (Gone Romancin and By Candlelight I'm looking at you!) So I get a bu just in case.

Based on those pics, it looks like the white frosty rim is an overspray. I don't like the coral design any better than the pink; I'll stick to Shell Pearl and Flatter Me.

Gauche? No. Not in my opinion. I haven't yet bought any back ups of a product but I think if you love or are excited about a color you should get multiples. Some collect..nothing wrong with that. Some are artists and use the items for their kits. And some want to make sure they don't run out of a fave product. MAC doesn't always promote colors right away and when they do, the shades/textures can be different. Get what you want as soon as you can! Now, for me to buy 6 lavender whips and I've never worn the color, know I don't really like lavender on me, but get 6 tubes in the name of hype--that's an issue of "portion" control (

I'm on a "diet" lol) but still a buyer's option. This is all a part of the make up game-the hype, the LE status, searching and finding your HG product. I love it! The lovely ppl of Specktra share if they have back ups for those who genuinely missed out. The problem is with folks who buy serious stock just to sell it at some outrageous price.

This is exactly what's bothering me - I can wear coral blush, but not orange!

I only backup lustre lipsticks that I LOVE (Pink Popcorn & Flamingo) due to the fact that the formula requires several applications throughout the day.
