HAPPY NEW YEAR ONE AND ALL! 15 pages to catch up on in this thread, whew!

Hats off to all you ladies giving in to your so's demands. No way is mine getting anywhere near my rear end. Then again with my outfit on new years, he couldn't keep his hands off me. Apparently, keeping him generally "medicated" makes him more agreeable. Fortunately I pay my own way most of the time.

Back to topic, after seeing the swatches I am still not seeing out of these world colors. I have so many neutrals from other brands like Chanel and YSL, that I feel my quota might be fullfilled. Brushes are another story.

I actually used gold pro pigment for my new years look and the effect was kind of looking like henna. I loved it!!!

I will definitely be getting the Extra Amps and Goldirocks ... as well as several others I am sure. The brown one doesn't appeal to me ... thank god!

I hope so I'm just paranoid about that sort of thing, being that this is my first 'MAC' winter. Logically my holiday stuff survived, therefor so should this, but lol ... thanks Tish.. now I can sleep and not worry about my Chill being too Chilled, and... feel okay ordering .. oh wait I said I'd only get the MSF's and brushes... doh.. caught myself contemplating lipsticks and glosses after the pretty swatches... oops.

I think lipsticks go bad when the texture changes (gets waxy and unapplyable (not a word) and the smell. I have red lipsticks (Miss Dish and Carnal from 2000-2001) that I still wear, so I never buy the reds out. I will just wait, I only buy lippies if I don't have anything like.

The new NYX $1 lippies have strucken my fancy lately because you can just try colors for fun, without the $14 committment.

so on jennas suggestion, i called the mac store in the st louis galleria mall, and the manager there told me she would take all my B2M's for BBR!!! I had 5 things worth and so i got flip, henna, and 100 strokes e/s and live and dye and strawberry blonde lipgloss... im SO EXCITED!!!! i cant believe i got 5 things from this collection for free-- i told her my eyeshadows were all depotted and she told me that was completely fine....ive never been so excited about something like this everrrrrrrr!!!!.. ill pry just end up buying 1 of the brushes and Knight eyeshadow and thats about it!

So Im only going to be spending like $35 on this collection and getting 4 eyshadows, 2 lipglosses, and a brush... HOLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah... im actually sending them to the mac store c/o her... shes so nice.. Michelle from the St. Louis Galleria Mall... what a freaking sweetheart-- I cant believe she even called her superior to ask and make sure i could do all 5 B2M's... she originally told me 3... then she called her.. I think regional director? And explained that i lived super far away... and got them to let me do 5 at once....
