Good luck! The straightener method is all I know. I followed Hannah's directions and even though I chipped the edge of my first one, the rest came out fine. It's actually such a great feeling condensing all those pots into the large palettes.

So I posted this in the swatch forum but I wanted to also show my comparisons of Femme-Fi to similar perm colors like Shroom...

(L to R: Ricepaper, Dazzlelight, Femme-Fi)

(Top: Femme Fi, Bottom: Shroom)

(Top: Shroom, Bottom: Femme-Fi)

Femme-Fi is very golden, actually really similar to Ricepaper. Shroom is pink-toned and not as much color payoff as FF. HTH!

The hair straightener method is so easy and fool proof. I used to use a candle, but switched last year.

Once, I walked away from my iron and forgot I left the shadow sitting on there, on high heat for at least 45 minutes. It wasn't ruined, the pan just came right out. A flat iron cannot mess up!

I am on pins and needles waiting for this collection. I REALLY want those MSFs to be mine asap. Plus like I have said before I really need to spend my MAC/Nordy's gift cards.

Top Knot has been removed from my list...I tried it with so many different piantpots and shadesticks and still just Black w/sparkles....Not sure how to make that pop for me or show purple???

Thats good to know...It'll probably come off my list as well..even though I REALLY REALLY wanted this eyeshadow to work..I think it had GREAT potential..ugh, that sucks..oh well....

Did you take pics of the swatches??? The more pics, the better! lol...

reading this thread just puts me in a good mood haha.. unfortunately for me, I'M the one with the higher libido in my relationship so I couldn't use that on the boy.. BUT he was very sweet and got me for our two year anniversary (which is on New Years Eve), a "buy whatever you want from MAC shopping spree with a $150.00 limit"

I know the 217 isn't in the collection but I think I'm the only person who doesn't own this brush yet and I've been lemming it for a while. I've been using a cheap one from Walgreens that works just fine, but hey, if somebody else is paying for it WHY NOT.
