does that mean if people who ordered more than 4 all got their orders cancelled? I mean, they can't cancel one person's and not everyone else's....

i noticed that a girl last night on FB was talking about her order got cancelled bc she made an order and paid with paypal. she had 3 separate orders but just ordered one each time (not really for sure why she did that) but anyways, they cancelled the paypal one. But other people i know had issues bc of using paypal to pay. I thought it was all computer generated anyways, maybe the system threw it out bc they suspected fraud if anything.

And i wish a rep would question how many i bought. I would reply, "Unless you are putting those funds in my account...ZIP IT" lol

Just got nevous and checked my email...nothing from MAC saying my order is canceled, but then again only got one Rocker which was the least favorite so not expecting any difficulties. :fingers crossed:

Maybe they're being stricter for this collection since not only is it online only, but also b/c it was determined by vote and they know that the demand will be higher than it typically is on eBay...?

And they are already at work on eBay.

Someone has the nerve to be selling CYY for 70 bucks as the STARTING bid -___-

Me too. I totally get where they're coming from, considering the demand for CYY on its own. It's frustrating since I was going to CP.

a friend of mine's order did last night about 12:30

she called and they said that paypal was the reason, so she just reordered and paid with a debit card.


So far on my end I'm good, no emails.

i used PayPal last night and my order is still pending. I only got 2 CYY, 2 Moxie, and 1 Rocker....they better not mess with my order!

I did too. i ordered 2 Rocker a CYY and Moxie.

I would be upset if i went to sleep and then they cancelled it last night and i didn't know until the morning tho!

I didn't even know it was possible to order more than 4. I believe on the german MAC site you can only put 4 per product in your cart. Of course, I can understand that it sucks when orders get cancelled, but I understand they are doing it because of the ebay issue, and I think that's a good thing.
BTW I just saw Metal Rock MSF on evilbay for $160!! a couple of days ago. Now I can't find it anymore, so apparently someone bought it for that price.

And maybe it's just me but i think that personally that it was a good call for them not to offer it to Pro first before the rest. It's a collection that was voted on by everyone and it was requested by non-pro holders and pro holders so it would of been unfair to those who have voted and did not get anything bc that portion of pro ordered it up.

I mean i guess at the end someone is going to lose one way or another. I didn't order greedily, i just ordered what i thought i would use.

Not just you, those were my thoughts as well. I normally don't have any issues with PRO getting first dibs, but agree with the reasons you listed. I might feel differently if these items were purchased by PRO and used specifically for their kit, but not if they're buying multiples for personal use. At that point, I think everyone should get a fair chance on this collection.

LESSON LEARNED : Bad things happen when you don't stalk the MAC website with 100s of your closest Specktrettes! Consider me glued to Specktra until the e/s are released...

I actually received the email shortly after 5 am PDT. I of course wasn't awake but my iphone did receive it. I wonder if Gmail gets emails quicker or they sent them in batches. The text I got much later. This is why I stalked last night b/c I didn't trust waiting for the email. I usually have ordered before I receive it. I'm sorry for those who have missed out on CYY and I hope that they do restock.

I saw CYY sold out and how it's being said on here that orders are being canceled. I got nervous and called to check on my order to make sure it's fine. I only ordered 2 of each lipstick and paid with credit card. The rep said my orders are now being processed by the warehouse and everything looks good. Sorry to hear about those who are having trouble.

I agree, I think this particular collection is best made available to everyone at the same time since it was dependent upon votes. To have it available to one group before another seems to defeat the purpose of making it a collection for all. However, not offering at least one restock or making enough to exceed the usual demand defeats the purpose as well.
