Lol, that is crazy. She should sell it for a reasonable price. I'll have to google Metal Rock as I'm not familiar with it.

Btw, I know wrong thread but everyone's here, but Dynamo and IV EC eyeshadows still show as coming soon. Weird, I wonder if they had to make more lol.

First of all welcome to Specktra!
Second, as far as I am concerned the original lust for CYY was because it was such a unique color & formula so people were crazed for it, however MAC pumped out so many similar colors with the same texture over the months that followed that I don't find it as unique as when it was first released. Sure it will be slightly different on the lips as some of the other colors you have, but really its nothing so amazingly different from what you have that you should pay a crazy amount for it. If you had grabbed it at retail, fine, I'm sure you would have liked it but enjoy your other colors instead & don't get sucked into any hype you might read that you are missing out on something amazing, because something else you'll want is around the corner

So after seeing all the talk about cancellations specially with the use of paypal I called and confirmed that both my orders are being packaged and are getting ready to ship! I used paypal for both orders, on the first order I got 2 CYY 1 Moxie and 1 Rocker then my sister asked me to get her a CYY so I placed another order of 1 CYY and one Moxie I'm just glad that I was able to get them now when they came out the first time I was overseas on military duty so I missed out!

Wow... Not surprised CYY sold out...

I think if MAC limited how many you could buy , at least on online mac only collections... More people would have a chance.
I think a limit two per person/household honestly would be ideal. Sure people would get around it or scalpers looking to charge a huge amount for the product on Ebay will find a way..

But I think it would help with it selling out so fast , and allowing others to get it if they want.

I got CYY the last time it came around, and still have it and a back up somewhere... For me backups are useless unless I plan to make it my go to lipstick . I have 200 lipsticks, and only one set of lips. I have backups from a year to two years ago still brand new in my jewelry box. IDK I guess I'd only buy a back up , in case one was damaged in UPS delivery, for a return for exchange by that time the item would be sold out ... So... yeah...

I ordered Moxie and Rocker last night.


Moxie should sell out soon, now that CYY is sold out.

I took a stalk-vacation yesterday after 6 pm and totally forgot. I woke up and CYY was sold out. I still got moxie! I am a sad person (although I do have one CYY that I have used twice I think!!).

I'm looking forward to the swatches part of the thread. Did anyone get expedited shipping? I ordered so fast last night I forgot to try pearl or at least pay the 5 bucks for second day. So gotta wait boo. I am considering getting Jete and Moth Brown this weekend. I have the Naked 2 palette but these have enough color to be unique right?

Question! I placed an order and got my thank you for ordering email, but when I go to the website it says I have no orders. But it's in the previous purchased. Should I stop being paranoid, and it's just pending, or should I ask about it?

you should call mac customer service, did you click on the order status?

Do a live chat or call, it couldn't hurt to be sure. Especially if you ordered CYY. Good luck!

Everyone seems to be getting emails about their order status... I'm in Canada and it's a holiday today--does that make a difference in terms of how many we can order (i.e. will we still be getting our orders? I can understand the lipsticks not being shipped and order status not updated until tomorrow at least). So paranoid about everything being backordered!!

I placed my order last night at 11:40 PM (Im located in Southern california) I had my MAC page open since 10PM!

after refreshing the page several times nothing showed up.. so i was like ok well maybe i should wait till 12AM for the collection to be up. Still had this feeling It was online already maybe not showing up in my mac page ... so googled MAC by request and there it was!! Temptalia had announced an hour before that the collection was already out and immediately clicked on the link she provided. At that time I was already panicking about candy yum yum being sold out thinking its been an hour out and I probably already missed out:(
Surprisingly NOPE candy yum yum wa still there so YAY!

! went and placed my order for two candy yum yum and two moxie lipsticks. I paid Via pay pal without a problem and soon after I received an email confirmation from mac that they have received my order and they will update once they have a tracking number. Minutes later I placed my second order for another 1 candy yum yum and 1 Moxie lipstick both CP from friends. this time I paid with my credit card and once again got an email confirmation again.

The only reason why Im panicking

right now is because i checked my bank account and it seems they have charged the money for my second order placed paying credit card, but the money for my first order via pay pal has not been charged:( I checked my pay pal and it still says pending! After hearing all these stories about orders placed by pay pal being cancelled, Im more paranoid to get a cancellation e-mail which I haven't but can't help to feel worried. Im Begging MAC now PLEASE! send me the tracking numbers for both of my orders ASAP! I have waited too long for this collection!
I can already see a huge list on e-bay with Candy Yum Yum selling starting at $50 a piece ! Im just too sad:(
