seriously i cannot say enough about smooth merge! it's super pretty and the middle strip rocks! it really gives me a lovely rosey glow. plus you could always use the lighter layers as a high light!

Okay, I don't know if there were other replies to this but I just didn't have time to catch up on all those pages! So, here's my 2 cents...

I wasn't going to get anything from Colour Craft (don't shoot me!) b/c I'm on a very firm no-buy (no jokes!.. *sob*) but when I heard I could B2M for the MES I figured why not. Maybe it's b/c I don't have Carbon/Black Tied/Beauty Mark, Goldmine, Earthly Riches or Crystal Avalanche, or maybe it's b/c I B2M'd for it, but I actually like Assemblage. Altho sometimes I wonder if I should've gotten Madly Creative or Made With Love...

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy I could subtly smoke out a nice natural eotd with the grey and black. The grey does remind me of Earthly Riches (lighter side) but less plummy, if that makes sense. I'm not getting too much fallout from any colour but I don't load up my brush when using MES, just one good swipe and patting/layering then repeat, usually w/ my 213. I didn't have much issue using my 217 when smoking out the corners though.

I think Assemblage is a good standby on days when I'm rushing or packing sthg for vacation. And good for those just getting into makeup too! Decent payoff and easy blending. I do find it works better w/ UDPP than my usual Soft Ochre tho. HTH someone!

I'm NC30-5 in the summer and don't find PP to be chalky on me. I use it as a highlighter so I expect the shimmer. It's great on those warmer blushes, and it's looked really nice with Brunette msf when I want to lighten it a little. I'd say look at the pictures along w/ the reviews before making your decision. It's quite pretty! =) Works great for winter looks too...

OT - but BlahWah - I love your avatar. I just saw Wall-E for the first time a few weeks ago and fell in love with it.

I really like Smooth Merge.
I think you should look into getting it but only get it if you really love it not just for gettings sake

I´m trying to get my hands on lollipop loving too! I missed out on it when it was repromoted in Sugarsweet.

I understand that some people finish products but I seriously don't know how you do! I got grand entarance from starflash and use it very often, and thought of getting a back-up but now it's coming back, and I am not even half- way done with mine even though I use it several times a week.
I can't finish a single mac product. lol

For me, it's more worthier saving money for other products than getting back-ups because I always find something new I love and use.

I love the pink light side of smooth merge. I use it as an all-over high-lighter. The only somewhat chunky side of smooth merge is the champagne side.

But yeah, as with lots of MSF's I can't use this alone as a blush. It looks good on top of blush.

I've seen Smooth Merge IRL and the entire collection. I'll place an order on sometime soon.

I've only got a couple b/u: Fun 'n Games blush and Bubbles l/s. I bought b/u b/c I didn't want to worry about rationing it out to make it last longer- i can wear it whenever I want!

Those are 2 products that I use frequently- in fact Fun 'n Games is almost an everyday thing. I've also bought a couple other b/u in the past and ended up selling them b/c I decided I wasn't going to use up the entire thing, at least not very quickly. I am usually of the opinion that one does not need b/u, but there are a few exceptions and each individual's exceptions are different

Thanks! I almost forgot about it, I lurk about Specktra so sporadically these days. I love yours too, with them red lips!

Back on topic... =P I really wanted Smooth Merge when I first read about it but I was expecting it to be... clearer? Like, with less warmth in it or sthg... more crisp. I was part relieved, part disappointed when swatched in store. I figure I have Love Thing so I can make do with that and layer a bit of sthg else on top to get what I'd wanted Smooth Merge to be.

I picked up Madly Creative today via B2M - gorgeous! Will get lots of wear out of this. Lovely shimmery pink-nude on me (NW20 with unpigmented lips).

Went back and bought Eccentrity today, I loved this when I swatched in on my hand in the store it showed up beautifully. Buuuuuuuuuut when I got it home and used it I cannot get the colors to show up on me at all when I use brushes, and I tried all different ones. I must say this is a huge disappointment, this is the one I wanted from the get go and it swatched nicely pigmented. And the glitter chunks were chunky and awful. So this one will be going back.

I tried on Cheeky Bronze as a blush, and I think I may have to consider this one. It was really pretty.

And I have not been interested in the 131 at all, but I played around wth it using MSF's and I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. I'm just trying to reason if it's worth $40 to me or not.

That's too bad that Eccentricity didn't work for you

It is my fav or the MES. Did you wear a primer underneath Eccentricity? I have worn it with "Soft Orche" paint pot and a Smashbox shadow primer and both times it worked well. (I am NW25 for reference). I used a 239 or 242 brush and the 226 in the crease. It's amazing how different colors can look on different people though!
