That's odd. Eccentricity shows up really well on my lids. However, I wet my 219 brush with fix+ and it deposits really well into my crease. This is the only eyeshadow I liked, except I wish it had the pink in it from fashion patch!

I was expecting the Gold to look fab and it barely look noticeable. It was so hard to get any color on my brush (except for the grey, I will give credit to being able to pick up color on that one). But, the white, gold and black were VERY chunky and just....Awful.

The grey looked so bad on me I had to wipe it off and re-do my eye. I've tried it a number of times and it just looks like mud on me. Maybe it's my skin-tone???

Well that sucks. But maybe it is partly a skintone thing. I know I'm really different skintone wise, being very yellow-y/olive, and most greys look horrible on me, but this one I liked! But otherwise, I didn't find it too chunky and with any more fallout than most other MES (except for the black). I love it so much, I'm really considering a back-up! (well, only because I'm terribly OCD and even though I'll be carefull, at some point, the colours will all blend together because of the crappy design)

None that I can think of. Its like a pink nude but with just a tad more like an Angel lippie pink in it. Or, maybe a mix of slimshine Longstem Rose & Bare. Its a very pretty brown/pinky nude on the lips

I might have to give Miss Marble a second look since I bare & long stem rose slimshines are two of my favorites.

I am going to B2M for Madly Creative and Trimming Talk and then I am D-O-N-E with this collection! Bring on fall!

i'm so upset with the mes. i have tried everyway to make them work for me and gave up so this morning i spent finding dupes for all the colors and i am taking them back tomorrow. i got eccentricity, fashion patch, and girlish romp. i think i did a good job finding dupes and it was so much fun playing all morning

I am so afraid I will be saying that about the one I bought...lol..I think it is just two many colors in one tiny container ...looks like they all run together then fall out all over the place

I think stv578's right, it probably just goes better with more olive/golden tones. I guess that's why French Grey doesn't work as well on me, like I'm Walking Death or sthg!

I almost forgot to mention that I also tried Warm Blend today, which I had gotten in exchange for Smooth Merge. Am I ever glad I did the exchange! Warm Blend is great, one of the three stripes is a really rosy bronze colour, and all three blended together is just a much nicer version of So Ceylon in my opinion, a touch brighter and therefore much more flattering.

Strangest post ever? Is it just me or does this comment look like it should be posted in response to an FOTD? LOL

There's absolutely no point getting back-ups for me, I haven't finished a single MAC product in my 4 years of loving mac.

That'e a pretty broad and all encompassing statement. For some people, backups make sense. Especially LE ones. There is something to be said for buying what you love and ensuring you have a replacement if it is something you really enjoy.

I went to my freestanding today. Picked up Improvise and the 226. I don't have a lot of lid space, and the only crease brush I have is the 217. I know the 217 is more of a blending brush and not a true crease brush, and I remember reading that the 226 is good for those of us with smaller eyes, so I figured it was a good investment.

I tried Hand Finish out, and it is a really pretty pink, but it's similar to Well Dressed on my complexion (or I'm just too much of a blush newb to tell the difference in color!), and I'm wary of the shimmer in my big pores.

Improvise is an effing gorge color on me though - different enough from what I already have to justify buying and to deal with the pore problem.

I was also tempted by Cheeky Bronze, but to me (the untrained eye), I was reminded of a mix of Petticoat and the MSFN in Medium Deep that I already have and use as a bronzer, so I passed.

So that brings my CC haul to:

Improvise
Daft Pink
Porcelain Pink
Miss Marble
226

I'm stopping there. Must save for Style Black...

I only got Smooth Merge, Triple Fusion, Cheeky Bronze, and the 226 brush. I still have not gotten to the counter to B2M for the two lipsticks that I want. I am proud of myself for spending so little on this collection.

I have far too much of this collection, but it is still less than I was initially going to get. Mind you, I'm not particularly interested in the fall collections either.
