That's tough! They are both pretty. Do you have Merrily? Everyone said Style Demon and Merrily are very similar. Seeing them in person, I would go with Fad-da-bulous, but that's just my opinion. I don't think you can go wrong with either

Maybe I should try TamEvas tip and condition it and see if that helps....

i would just exchange it and think of it as a defect =/

i sometimes clean my brush with cleanse off oil to get rid of the stains. it seems to moisturize as well. try that?

My 226 from BBR is seriously scratchy. I have never had such a scratchy brush from MAC before.

yeah mine is quite soft. i suppose you guys got a bad batch? i'd still exchange it. its not fair to have to pay a lot of money for an item that isn't the way it should be

Go with style demon! Fadabulous barely showed up on my skin (NW45). S.D. reminded me of intenso that's why I didn't get it. Good luck!

Here's an idea for all of you that love the lipglass from this collection, yet hate the packaging. What I did was remove the stopper & with a pair of clean & sterile scissors, cut off about 1/4 of an inch off the bottom, then place the stopper back in. This allows a lot more product out of the tube, yet keeps most of it inside. To remove the stopper, I used a pair of tweezers to wedge between the main body of the tube and the stopper. HTH!

Not sure if "Can I exchange my brush because it is scratchy" works here. I think you can only exchange cosmetics if you are allergic here. That and that it is from BBR... I will try the conditioner first and then the oil.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Yeah, my 129 is perfect as were all the others. Except the 226. I will let you know how my experiments turn out once I am back home.

Any #131 brushes in NYC? One store told me they had reordered them but they haven't come in yet. Has anyone seen any lately? Thanks.

A thing I do but that you have to be very careful with is: identify the hair (or hairs) that are scratchy and remove them (usually it's not more then 3 or 4). They are bigger then the other ones, do it with tweezers and a magnifying glass.

hey girls !
times runs soo fast..my mum visit me here in spain and i had a great time with her...just didnt have time to be in specktra...
last but not least my haul:

226 brush
improvise blush
fad-dabulous blush
cheeky bronze msf
smooth merge msf
warm blend msf (i give it to my mum)
and porcelain pink

the standouts are cheeky bronze and fad-dabulous/improvise

the only problem i have is with my 226...

the 226 from BBR is much more dense...has more hair..not as fluffy as this one....did someone else notice this?
sorry if this has been asked already...but there are so many pages to catch up of the last 3 weeks....

TIA

I did exactly this to soften my extremely scratchy 224 brush. I've yanked out maybe 6 strands of hairs that are much more coarse than the rest and it has helped a lot. Still scratchy though, so more work has to be done!

I bought Sunny By Nature MSF today, I handpicked one that had relatively more veining in it.

I guess my Color Craft haul is finally complete at last.

same but i thought what the heck i have to buy it after hearing all the raves, if it sucks i'm sure it shouldn't be difficult to sell (i hope!)

They had a lot left when I got mine from the MAC store at beverly hills center last Thursday if anyone is still looking.

I bought smooth merge but i haven't tried it. On MUA is rated very low though!

i've been on holidays for over 2 weeks and haven't had time to catch up on this thread but are we still crazy about the 131 brush? I'm after a good blush brush.
