^ Everyone who has tried the 131 loves it, but I know a lot of people (myself included) decided to pass just because it's so similar to the 188 and 187's. I have two 187's and a 188 and would rather spend my money on more makeup than a brush that I know I won't use all that much. But I will prob end up buying the 131 if it shows up at a CCO or someday in a repromote

wannabelyn: I think the #131 is a good blush brush, I'm so glad I bought it.

#165 is an awesome brush too, it is going to be repromoted (can't remember which collection though).

I don't really have many MAC brushes, but I'm now interested in the #188 and their other blush/contour brushes. Any good ones to recommend?

^DSquared2 is repromoting the #165 Tapered Cheek/Highlight Brush. Today I used my 131 brush for Cheeky Bronze! I need to use this brush more often! I may get the 187 and the 188 brushes later on in case I don't get a second 131 brush.

i prefer the 188 over the 187, and its one i regularly reach for.

i found myself not liking the 131 that much when i brought it, but ive been reaching for it everytime for blush application, and it does it perfectly every time. i do love this brush dearly now

I like the 188 for darker blushes on my cheeks because it picks up just the right amount of color and it's a small size and I have a small face

I am sure the 131 would be great too for this!

As for other blush brushes, I am in love with the 116! I use to use my 129 but the 116 is smaller and perfect! For contouring I like the 169 but I know a lot of people use a 109. I just got the 109 and haven't really tested it out yet. For highlighting the 165 is awesome! And it can do so many other things too! I use it for everything! It's amazing!!!

I use my #165 for contouring. Haven't really tried it for highlighting yet, and I'm looking for a good highlighting brush as well. I agree the #165 is an awesome brush, I think I should get more of it.

But mine has been shedding lots of hairs though, I wonder why.

Thank you for your recs, I will check out the #116! My MA showed me a blush brush before, I can't remember what it was but I think it's the #116.

And yes the #188 sounds awesome for pigmented blushes, and would also be great for filling in patchy spots since it's such a small brush.

Me too! I like to use it for medium-pigmented blushes though, it is bad for putting on sheer blushes because I will have to layer like crazy, and it's not too good for very pigmented or dark blushes, because the color will go on too strong if I'm not careful (I'm going to buy the #188 for these blushes).

The 131 brush is love!! Today I'm going to clean my brushes since they are dirty. I heard lots of great things about the 109 brush! Even though I have the 109SE brush from Hello Kitty and I want a full size one to use for foundation.

I'm sure they will have the 109 and 116 Winnie. They should have the 188 too

I actually just started using the 182 for my foundation and it gives the most flawless finish...I have always used the 187 but this works so much better....

Yep the 182 is the bigger Kabuki. I have the couture 182 or whatever it's called (the one with the sqaure handle with the design on it that was LE). I got it at a CCO so I forgot what it's actually called... I love that for MSF natural. But have never tried it with liquids. How do you do it, Tish? Buff them on or stipple?

I just dot my face the way she did in the vid with liquid.....then I just buff to smoothness...So quick and easy...the brush is expensive but so damn worth it....I use the 183 flat top buffer brush when I want a more matte finish...I just hate that the bristles are white...but it works great too...picked two of those up at the CCO awhile back
