If this was missed, I'm posting it up again.

Does anyone know if Rose-Go-Round is a blue-red, yellow-red, or a true red? Thanks for the info!

So far it looks like I'm getting:
-Pop Circle
-Warm Eyes Palette

And maybes:
-Naked to the Core
-Rose-Go-Round

I really don't like the swatch of Inner Hue. But I'll give it a chance...

For some reason I am so bad at telling these things. My impression is that it leans more toward blue/purple than orange/yellow. Though if i had to pef it, it seems to be kind of in the middle. HTH

While I agree with Adina that is leans more toward blue/purple than orange/yellow, it seemed to me that it was almost more burgandy than red. Not super dark or anything, but deeper than just plain red. It's kind of hard to describe.

I thought I did the biggest haul of the year when I went to MAC and took advantage of the F&F sale. Ugh....spent $400 in three episodes. Nordies here I come!!!

I only wanted 2 brush set and the cool eyes palette but now I want:
-cool eyes palette
-2 brush sets
-Female RMH
-Dark Influence RMH
-Pop Circle l/s
-Sun Centered
-Play Around Pink

Maybe
-Rose Buillon RMH
I can't waiiiiiiiiiiiit! I'm a big sucker for purple, blue, and pink of anything! My bf usually pays for the MAC releases as an anniversary present.

Theres only one Nordies in Hawaii so I hope they don't sell out before I get there.

I haven't read through the other pages but is the highlighter similar to the cream color base? I'm not too sure what to use it as? Sorry if it's already been answered. Thanks!

The MA at my Nordies said the 18th also. That is when the Anniversary/Beauty Exclusives are supposed to come out.
Now things have already been "in writing" coupons/flyers and such for Friday, July 18- Sunday, August 3, but you never do know if things can be sold before the 18th...

+ Brush sets not only come with the standard bag, but also a SLIM CASE which is the IDEAL Ipod case! My friend tried her Ipod in it, and its like PERFECT, the hole is right where the screen is and its awesome!

+Palettes are palettes, but in the Cool Eyes one there is an AMAZING purple that is the same color as my baby Mancatcher, but with the best payoff/texture I think I've ever seen in an eyeshadow!! It was crazyyyy

Posted pics and swatches over in that thread, hope this all helps someone

Thanks! This makes me to want this collection even more!

So my final list, stamped and certified is as follows:

Pop Circle (wonder if I can B2M for this, it's special packaging, but maybe?!)
Warm eyes
Circa plum pigment.

I'm not going to look at or swatch anything, just going to pre-order these items and ruuuunnnn!!!!

lol, definitely a safer strategy than sticking around and swatching, even if it's not as fun. =P And you're showing pretty good restraint for someone who's caught with the LE bug! I can't say the same if I had more cash to play with - you saw my "list", it's more than 2x longer than yours!

And a late thank you, but Adina you rock for taking all those pics and swatches!

I find I can resist things if I don't swatch them in person.
If I start swatching things and they start looking gorgeous, I end up buying them! So I need to restrain from swatching, it saves me from buying.

I'm only limiting myself to swatching certain things.

If I don't see how something looks like on me, there's no danger for me wanting it!

It's not the best method, but it works for me.

I'm very mixed about this collection-on the one hand, everything looks beautiful...but I'm uneasy about the RMH! The colors are gorgeous but knowing how easily everything creases on me, I don't think I'll be able to use them as an e/s base like I'd want to-boo! I'll have to check everything out in person, I think

. But lucky for me there's a Nordstrom right by my house with a MAC counter so I'll be able to go test everything to my heart's content!

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

Thank you so much Adina!! You've convinced me that I don't need Tea Time, so I'll be skipping that one! I'm still getting Circa Plum and Gilded Green, though. CP because, well, it's purple...nuff said! GG because I have neither Pastorale nor Golder's Green, and I think GG way prettier than both of those. I've also decided to pass on all the lippies. I originally was going to get Pop Circle and Naked to the Core, but I decided I have so many lipsticks that I rarely get to wear, that I'm not about to spend another $30+/or use 2 B2Ms. I'll save that $$/containers for something else I really want and will use. So for me - it's just the 2 pigments...yay!!

Bring on fall, baby, 'cuz that's where the big money is going!!

Flash of Flesh is the lipgloss in the warm palette. This was released a few years ago and, from what I remember, was very popular. I bought 3 back-ups! I am going to buy the palette just to get FOF (it is that pretty).

It can look glittery in the compact but it applies as shimmer not glitter. This is a gloss I wish Mac would make permanent.

Yes!!! Flash of Flesh is Beautiful!!!

We drove 2 hours to a Nordies today (not specifically for that) & I must say that I was pretty darn ticked that all that Nordies MAC counter had was 2 of the lip palettes & the 2 eye palettes. I was like...you have to be kidding me &%#@!...so she says...well you can have this pamphlet...I laughed & said...no thats ok, I can see better on Specktra
smiles.gif
She laughed with me.

Well, I'm not so impressed with what I did see
ssad.gif

I could not leave without something
smiles.gif
so I got Lush N Lilac & Cranapple lip liners...both are very pretty.

Oh, & I noticed that our Nordies says on the entrance door glass - NO PHOTOGRAPHY...

Oooh, pretty. Blue Spill looks like exactly what I've been searching for, a nice true blue not too loud.

So I have made my decision to cancel my preorder. I am dreading it because I was feeling alot of pressure to place the order in the first place, and now am going to cancel. Should be fun. I always deal with the same MA so she will get my sale from Electroflash and Sonic Chic, which is much more substantial than my preorder. I always feel so guilty changing my mind. Better to do it now though, then buying it and returning it later, I guess.

Good for you Audrey! I am not even allowing myself to go into Nordstrom to see all of this stuff because I know that I will feel pressured to pre-order something. There hasn't been one swatch or picture that I have seen that has made me REALLY want anything from this collection. That obviously means that I was meant to skip this collection. I did the same thing last year with Novel Twist and I didn't regret it at all.
