I was thinking this too b/c Flash of Flesh was my first LE item, but Oh Garnet is perm and the peachy l/s included seems dupeable enough. Since I have plenty of Flash of Flesh left in my tube (I use it oh-so-sparingly!), I've decided to pass on the Warm Lips. It was so tempting tho! Especially since it seems to be reformulated.

I'm on the fence about getting the brush set. I would have to order in online so I can't go look at it. I"m new to mac and I don't own any mac brushes, I really wanted the 187SE. Should I pass?

Yep, Oh Garnet originally came out with Adorn...and I almost paid an arm and a leg to get that lipstick before I found out it was in the warm lips palette.

My gosh do I feel like a dunce! I coulda sworn it was perm, but it's not like I checked... I guess it's from seeing it on eBay so much! =P Well then, let's reconsider... Awwww, but if I'm not getting Warm Eyes, which I'd use more and I have nothing like the gorgeous Rolled Gold, why should I get Warm Lips?

Reason: Because it's cheaper and I still get something new and pretty to play with.

*torn*...!!

I cancelled my richmetal highlighters, just getting Circa Plum from this collection now. I'm just too overwhelmed with all the stuff coming up and I don't think I'd use them that often.

I finally got to a Nordstrom and made my preorder!

I'm getting:
5 Warm Eyes
Tea Time Pigment
Sun Centred
& Play Around Pink

So excited!
I planned on getting the 5 Cool Eyes, but the colors are SO boring!! Radial Pink reminded me of Pink Venus minus sparkles, Brown Border is like Twinks mixed with Bronze with some Trax minus alot of pearl. It is described as frosty plum but it looked VERY chocolatey brown, slight purple on my hand for some reason. Spot Colour seemed like the most unique and undupeable shade to me. However I dislike wearing alot of purple and especially hated Parfait Amour when I had it, and that seems like the closest match, just with an added pearlized shimmer. Slate seemed like Soot or Typographic. I wasn't impressed!! Good thing I went to go check everything out or I would have been stuck with this!!

I was looking forward to Royal Flush, Gilded Green and Tea Time pigments. I wasn't really impressed with the first two. Royal Flush is a pretty reddish tone but it applied very transparent. I find it hard to build up pigments so I like an immediate coverage from them. Also in comparison to Rustic (from 5 Warm Eyes) I much prefer the coppery red of the shadow. Gilded Green seemed like an average green to me. A normal mid-tone green with the usual sparkle of pearlized pigments. Nothing special. I thought Tea Time was unique. I love a frosty pearlized brown and I think I'll get alot of use from it. It applied less sheer than Royal Flush which I appreciated as well.

i think im going to call in tomm and cancel one of the richmetal highlighters i was going to get. I pre-ordered in the moment and now with all these new collections and things that i want from them the less im wanting from this collection. I might just cancel the richmetal highlighters all together because im not sure that i'll use them much as it is. but im not sure...

Personally I dislike the Rich Metal Highlighters. I bought one from MAC Couture and they are basically Cream Colour Bases. I have the Gold Mode one and yes it does glide a little more than a CCB and it's a little prettier, but it still creases on my eye.

Also it might be worth mentioning that Rose Bullion's working name was Pink Ingot (from Metal-X), Dark Influence's working name was Plum Electric (from Metal-X), and Positive Charge's working name was Improper Copper (permanent Cream Colour Base). So maybe they are meant to be a cross between Metal-X and Cream Colour Bases. Not a big fan of them either way.

If anyone has those Metal-Xs or Improper Copper, consider skipping those particular Rich Metal Highlighters.

I get a lot of creasing if i dont double my bases and only use a brush to put them on...i think that im just going to cancel the rich metal highlighters completely. i can't justify getting them because i feel like im not going to use them that much. Thanks for that info BunnyBunnyBunny.

Boo...very sad over Royal Flush being sold out on the website right now...I would actually really love that color in a more transparent color. Cranberry (which I think appears quite similar) goes on too opaque on me.

Warm palette and advanced brush set, that's IT.
I'm probably going to skip the lippies if I spend a boatload on the Sonic Chic blushes.

I also just called and cancelled my preorder for the 2 richmetal highlighters I ordered(rose bullion & dark influence) I always go to my gracious me shadestick when I need a pink base & never seem to need a purple base, I have nice vice & a couple of others & never find myself reaching for them.

I also just added a couple of comparison swatches of circa plum in the swatch thread, really I don't have anything else like it, its pretty
