Another really good one to soften the blue is Lark About as it has the blue in it. I also use Mutiny to brighten it up, or Aire-de-Blu to really make it a soft blue.

Can someone please tell me why my Warm Chill is such monkey crap? The tester in the store was so nice and the color went on like butter, but when I bought one home, mine is so hard. I can barely get any color and it's starting to get chunky.

I'm not sure why this is happening to you. Mine isn't chunky but I do have to use the 239 to really get any payoff with it. And I have to load that baby up! I think it is just really, really sheer. Whenever I am at the store the swatches never look the same as they do when I get them home. I think it's a conspiracy!!

I’ve seen some people swatch the eye shadows using their fingers, I wonder if with time and body oil it will have some effect on the shadows texture?

I've also seen people actually take the lipstick tester and put it on their lips. Are you friggin kidding me?

it definately does, especially with warm chill.

i've been wearing it every day at work, and mine has that hardened area in the center where the naturals oils have transferred from my brushes. you just gotta scrape it off and start over.

I agree, here I am stressing about money and all I can think about it Audrey's chartreuse pigment in her FOTD....

Yeah, it's basically the oils from people's fingers that make the colors go on buttery smooth when you swatch it in store. D:

Climate Blue, Gulf Stream, Warm Chill, Warming Trend and Solar Heat would give you enough variations to do some beautiful eyes....JMO.....

Thank you guys (and all others too) for your thoughts and comments. I think I wont take Cool Heat, I'm affraid I wont use so often and I don't know about Warming trend yet - I 'll have to wate to see them in person.
Thakx, you were very helpful

I agree, Warm Chill isn't the best as far as color payoff. I tired it with Uppity f/l as a base but I didn't care for the end result. The only thing that helped for me was Shimmermint Shadestick. The. Only. Thing. This may have to go back for me.

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

Okay. I have to say it girls, I'm not that crazy about Solar White. It's just okay for me. I love me some golds but this is just.....too gold? I'm not sure. Its just okay for me. I kinda wish I could get that pinky color you see on the pot onto my eyelid. Oh well. Texture is amazing though.

Climate Blue is hot in the pot (haha it rhymes) but like others have mentioned, they texture is so-so. I tried it with Mango Mix Shadestick as a base and it was okay (trying to bring out those sparkles). Royal Wink f/l as a base. Same, just okay COLOR wise. I still have to play with it. I was veeery surprised to come to the conclusion that Blue Flame might be my fave out of my bunch (Solar White, Warm Chill, Climate Blue, Blue Flame). True, the color isn't crazy unique, but out of the 4 I got, it has the best texture/color.

Edit: I just have to say, Aquavert kicks Warm Chill's arse big time! I heart my Aquavert! Poor thing, I should have never doubted you.

Mine's like that too. But I really only like using it, and planned on using it, for the inner corner and then sweeping it up into the inner crease, or to soften the crease color. However, mine isn't hard at all! I've already nicked it a few times on accident.

i hear you! i went to the store with my friend and to my horror, she picked up a random lipstick and started putting it on her lips! i told her to ask the MA to clean it for her, but she said she does not care! can you say GROSS?!

i also bought her a paintpot for her b-day and a 242 to go with it (btw, this was Nov last year), and last week she told me that she really liked the brush and hasn't cleaned it EVER. if she has to clean it, she'll just buy a new one. i cringed when i heard that. note to self: don't buy makeup for her ever again!

Holy God her lids must be an infestation of bacteria. I'm freaking out right now just thinking about that.

You also might want to make a note to yourself: don't ever tell her about specktra since she might try to sell that shizz here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're a good friend, btw. I'd probably buy the 242 and paintpot as a gift and then end up keeping it for myself!!

Bleh. I at least wash my stuff once a week. D: Baby shampoo!

And I don't see what's so bad with Climate Blue's texture? I use it over UDPP and it goes on smoothly and pigmented for me. And I haven't really worked with Warm Chill yet.. though maybe I should.
