I’m so excited; can’t wait to get off work to go shopping. I’m so glad I didn’t shop at MAC last Thursday; hopefully I’ll be able to use the coupon.

Since Mac_Whore is our resident beauty junkie and obviously owns a lot, I think we should all take her opinions very highly and go out and purchase gulf stream. Which base punches it up best?

I would go in the store, but then I know I would haul way more than I should. Which is why I stick to ordering online. And I'm afraid GS will sell out by the time Monday rolls around :-/

I got my Cool Heat orders last night. God bless MAC's fast shipping! I think the 2 standouts are Gulf Stream and Cool Heat. They are so pretty that I just can't stop looking at them in the pans! I also love Tropic Glow s/s which is such a perfect summer color.

I'm going to the store tomorrow to use the 15% off coupon on perm stuff and B2M for 4 items. I can't wait!

I started by using MAC's paint pot in Bare Study all over the lid. Then applied Solar White from lash line up to the brow (when applied by itself it is very gold but the Bare Study cuts down on that a bit and makes it appear more whiteish). Then I applied Gulf Stream on the outer 2/3... Climate Blue on the outer 1/3 and Blue Flame in the crease and on my bottom lash line . To finish the look off I used the new Tropic Glow Slimshine on the lips

I got my Cool Heat order yesterday (Ugh, I have NO willpower & ordered 6 eyeshadows & 3 slimshines when I promised myself I was only going to get 4 e/s & 1 s/s, lol)

My only complaint is that Warm Chill is SOoooooo light, I really need to cake it on for it to show up. But I tried it over a light application of Lucky Jade shadestick & it shows up very nice that way. But it is a super light color(FYI, I am a pale girl)

These are my first slimshines...Swelter, High 90s & Tropic Glow & I love them.

They show up super nice on my pigmented lips, I was pleasantly surprised & am considering ordering more on monday with the online coupon.

Against my beter judgement I did order Climate Blue & I am happy I did, it is gorgeous, the texture really isn't great, as has been said, but it is gorgeous IRL & I can't wait to try it with a pink/lavender eye, I think it will look so mice in the crease with those colors

I agree, I just LOVE Climate Blue on...so so pretty! And, High 90's is so gorgeous with just one coat! Swelter is an Awesome red. Tropic Glow is a beautiful summer fruit pink color! Very happy with everything I got. I am going back to order Gulf Stream...I have NO willpower either

Moss Scape Paint Pot, Sea Me Shadestick, Royal Wink Fluidline, Jealous Kohl Power and Aqualine LLL

On it's own Gulf Stream can be quite subtle or intense, depending on how you play it up. For a subtle look:

1. Nude base
2. Apply Gulf Stream all over lid with a 224 or 217
3. Soft Brown or Soba in the crease (Variation: Add Shag instead of the browns)
4. Add Brown Down or Swiss Chocolate in the deep crease if you want more depth (Variation: Add Sketch instead of Brown Down).

I think I may need to head over to MAC at lunch (even though I bought all the eyeshadows and Tropic Glow) as I really like those slimshines. Plus its fun to see how the MAs are wearing the new collection!

I also realized this morning that I now have over 80 eyeshadows and am really thinking about depotting them (I hesitate because I am so afraid they are going to crack more easily in a palette and/ or get all the other colors dirty

The only e/s I didn't get was Gulf Stream, even though it is Gorgeous & I was so tempted, I have Waternymph & they are soooooo similar & I rarely reach for my Waternymph I felt like I woulnd't really used it. SO instead I took that money & got Swelter & I love it

I'll be posting swatches soon of everything too...including Warm Chill over lucky jade. And I was looking for a base for Climate Blue & tried it over both Royal Hue & Gracious Me shadesticks...OMFG!!! Climate Blue over Gracious me is Pure Sex!!! I hope the pics come out half as good as in realy life cause its a totally amazing look!!! I wish my camera would pick up the sparkles in it cause its truly beautiful!!!

I started to giggle when I realised I have all of those bases except for primer potion.
