I had a chance to see the Cool Heat shadows yesterday surprisingly! I've bolded what I ordered online that should be arriving later today. I'm NW20 for reference.

Solar White - I did end up ordering this and I'm glad I did. It was all hype that made me want it but it is gorgeous. Nothing spectacular though IMO, I won't be buying a back-up or anything. It reminds me of something without the duochrome but I'm not sure, I'll take some comparison shots once I get it.

Warming Trend - Pretty color but I wouldn't wear it often. On, I still think it looks like Jardin Aires with Woodwinked mixed in so it was a tad too dupable for me and I'm not big on neutrals.

Warm Chill- A lot lighter than I thought it was going to be which was sort of disappointing but over a good base it will be gorgeous so I'm happy. It doesn't remind me of mood ring at all on my skin but it's a gorgeous shade of green.

Gulf Stream - Sooo beautiful. I think it's my favorite. It does remind me a lot of Waternymph but I don't have that anymore so I'm so happy to be getting this.

Cool Heat - Exactly like others have said, Big T with better texture. I love it.

Climate Blue - I kept going back and forth on this one before I saw it but now I'm glad I decided against it. I do tend to like some velvets so I wasn't sure if the texture was going to be a problem but with this one it was. On my skin I could hardly get any purple to show up. It looked chalky and garish.

Blue Flame - I didn't order this because of the Deep Truth comparisons and I'm glad I didn't. It looked exactly like Deep Truth on me. And for some reason, even though it's a VP, I preferred the texture of DT. I remember someone mentioning this and I couldn't believe it but it was true for me too.

I didn't check out any of the slimshines 'cause at this point I'm not too interested, only in GS and that can wait. I'll be posting some comparison swatches tonight or tomorrow though I'm sure. =)

I'm trying to decide if I should get Plumage to use as a crease color with all these shadows!!?? Is Plumage a pretty shadow??

Vcanady - I, for one, LOVE plumage. I think it will go great with all these shades so I say yes! Go for it! =)

Jenntoz- You are right, Climate Blue looks very nice over Gracious Me. It looks a lot like a pigment mixture I made which I looove. Purples are so pretty!

MAC_Whore - Thank you for all those swatches!! I love it over Royal Wink, I can't wait to try that!!

Haha I think thats all I need to get it! Between having a MAJOR addiction and this 15% off, I def think I will get it. When the collection first came out I was thinking Plumage looked like such a unique color and would go great with Cool Heat!! I can't wait to go to my MAC store, I'm just waiting for my friend to get here!!!!

just got back from the mac store

, however, i would like to preface my review with a story:

so, after getting all my goodies at the mac store i went to the bathroom (no biggie). i proceeded to make the trek across the mall back to my car. when i get to my car i realize that i did not have my mac bag w/ over a $100 worth of stuff

. i left it in the bathroom! best believe i ran/speed walked/prayed to God all the way across the mall to the bathroom. people were staring at me but i did not care (this is mac we are talking about!). so i get to the bathroom looked at the counters and it's not there. so of course by now i am beyond panicked/out of breath

. i go to the stall that i was in and it was still hanging on the hook. omg i was sooooo relieved. even to this moment i'm still traumatized...

ok. on to the review:

this collection is beyond gorgeous. there is nothing in it that i did not like. i did like some stuff more than others and that is what i decided to get. my haul was compromised of all the e/s (excluding blue flame) and high 90s s/s.

warm chill: wonderful shimmery mint green w/ gold undertones. this one you have to apply several "coats" to get the color to show up, but when it does

solar white: yet another great color. looks beige/pink in the pan but when swatched it becomes a lovely light gold. good stuff. i could see my self using this both as a highlight and on the lid.

cool heat: yes! the teal i've been dying for. it has a hint of gold shimmer which makes it that more awesome. the texture may require a little bit more work, but nothing big enough to deter me from buying it.

warming trend: definitely fits the description of being a light taupe. fabulous texture, as is to be expected w/ veluxe pearl. love it! not identical to anything currently in the perm. collection. similar to patina. however, patina has this duochrome thing that makes it look gray at times.

climate blue: "matte" purplish blue with pink sparkles (which surprisingly showed up when swatched). texture? not worse that any other matte/velvet. it is quite pigmented and showed up w/ the 1st swatch. beautiful color. would look great either on the lid/as a liner/in the crease.

gulf stream: wow. gorgeous. very pigmented with a great texture. just as noteworthy as all the other shadows above.

blue flame: identical to deep truth. do not let anyone tell you otherwise. lol. great color nonetheless. i have deep truth so i did not get it.

high 90s: fantastic color! the description says it's a frost but it did not look frosty, more creamy than anything. has the wonderfully, slippery, glossy texture of the typical slimshine. a must have.

other slimshines: swelter, very nice sheer red. i'm not into sheer red lips so i didn't get it. gentle simmer, very pale shimmery pink. does appear to make the lips "glow" like someone else had said. not bad. tropic glow, little bit on the brighter side since it is a blue pink. very frosty. in fact, i had some shimmer left on my lips after removing it. not cool. it would have been better without the frost. by degrees, not a bad color at all but still not remarkable. i was thinking of getting it. i'm still undecided.

i'll post swatches soon.

One of the nice things about Tropic Glow is that it is on the blue side so it makes your teeth look very white for those of us out there with some staining!!!

I was very good,I only got solar white,warm chill and tropic glow!Usually I spend around $150-200 on each collection but I forced myself not to this time.I really wanted gulf stream,but I have waternymph which is even better

No more MAC for me until electroflash and sonic chic!!

I today to check it out. I ordered everything I wanted online on Monday, but I wanted to check out Climate Blue. I am glad I did, I bought one! I also picked up 2 more Tendertones.

OK...so after receiving everything from Cool Heat on Tuesday, except for Gulf Stream, I had to run to MAC this morning to get it and it is the best one in the bunch IMO. I love it!!!! So gorgeous and I got Minted Eye Kohl to go with and it looks smokin' hot together. I never bought Waternymph (had just gotten into MAC when it came out) but I wish I had it to compare in real life. Oh well...

On Climate Blue...I haven't played with it using any other colors yet but I will be using bronze & copper colors with mine!
