I am still deciding if I should get all the LE colors or not.... Won't really know until swatches.

this collection inspired me to wear brights today! i am wearing golden lemon pigment on my lid with vibrant grape in the crease. the shroom to highlight

oh and for bright lips i am using electric fuchsia gloss

Love electric fuchsia! I don't give it enough love though

I have been wanting golden lemon for awhile.... Is it a good consistency/formula?

golden lemon is hard to work with to be honest. it's a little chunky with lots of tiny glitter particles which do go everywhere when applying! however if you add a drop of mixing medium to the brush this limits the fallout because it makes it stick together more.

^Yes, Golden Lemon is hard to work with and I even paired it up with Teal pigment like you did and it was so pretty! I'm going to end up with all of the eyeshadows in this collection and maybe one or two of the Dare To Wear lipglasses.

Also I see Gorgeous Gold in there too and I had wanted that so badly awhile ago, went to MAC and asked the MUA there to do a look with it. She flat out told me no because it wasnt going to look right on me. I kept insisting on it and she kept saying "no it's not going to look right...it has too much green in it". I too look better in warm tones but that doesnt look too "cool" to me. Anyway hope the pic helps

It's so annoying when they don't want to apply something, because they think it will not look good. You asked it and you are the customer, so you're king (or queen in this case

).

I found Electric Fushia at the MAC counter in Tallinn a week ago.

Honestly I don't know how I'm going to wear it either, but it was so pretty I just to have it. (When it originally came out, I was much more practical and didn't buy it

Ok, moving through collection threads with my wishlists. Lemmin list for Dare to Wear isn't very big as I have a lot of the repromote/Pro shades. The glosses will be hot though. I want:

Lipglosses
- Gimme That! - Bright fuchsia pink with pink pearl
- Ban This! - Deep purple with multi-pearl
- So Bad -Mid-tone coral orange with pink and gold pearl

Eyeshadows
- Zingy -Bright blue (Matte) (Limited Edition)
- Crazy Cool - Mid-tone lavender (Limited Edition) only if it's different from my other lavender shades

How does Golden lemon pigment compare to Going bananas? I really want going bananas but have a feeling I'm not gonna be able to get my hands on it before they sell out but if its real close to golden lemon then I wont fret. Thanks

Today it felt like summer here too, it has been ridiculously cold for the past couple of weeks so it was about time to let it shine!

How do you guys who have Going Bananas like it? It has so poor reviews on MakeupAlley but it has been getting raves here.

i think there are some swatches in the swatch section - however golden lemon is a touch more yellow than going bananas going form my memory. my going bananas is pretty much used up

I love Going Bananas. It was my first yellow MAC e/s and I wear it a lot with greens like Swimming or Wondergrass.

it was my first too! mine came in the Manish pallette back in 2008. before that i had never really worn yellows!

to be fair i have been wearing lots of golds recently with bright blue/teal liners. very summery!
