Same here! I am wearing a purple shirt today, and decided to wear purple e/s which has been unloved for awhile now.

It is practically the only color I wear on my eyes.

I have both and if I had to choose one it would be Going Bananas. But that's just my opinion.

Yay! More reason to get Going Bananas. I don't wear yellow as much as I should, so I don't think I can justify owning them both. But, maybe eventually, I will get Golden Lemon as well. People are saying GB will sell out really fast- how early should I call to pre-order???? I'm worried I won't get it.

I have to say, I'd appreciate the honesty though, if they really don't think it will look good...most of the MAs at my local counters (I don't have a MAC counter, sadly) are not very helpful at all.

I think it is nice of them to give recommendations on what will look good/bad, but when it comes down to it, if you ask to have them try a color on, they should do it. I mean, yeah, tell me it won't look good, but if I ask again, I obviously still want to try it- even if it is sheered out or blended with other colors to make it look good.

Personally, I just sometimes want to try unusual combos or colours I'm not sure about - and then, swatches on the back of my hand don't help! I want to try them on my eyes, and why not? In the end, I'm the custumer, even if I pair pink with blue or something.

I have been thinking lately to try pink with blue

In the pan i like Sushi Flower with Freshwater. I will try it this week

Right! I mean whether it will look good or not let me decide that. She may have lost a sale because she didnt use it. I had wanted a yellow and green look and she kept insisting on purples because it would bring out my eye color. I told her I use purples a lot so I know what that looks like but I havent tried yellow/green yet. Finally she did a yellow and green look but she used the Devil May Dare palette and when I got out in the daylight it looked like I really had no e/s on at all! Everything was so darn pale and light. I took a pic to show my friend and she agreed......looked like I had no makeup on at all! Turns out she is one of the managers there and she also told me at another time that I can't wear winged liner because of my hooded eyes

. I told Ashley the MUA that I really like and is the nicest one what she said and she said she was a terrible person with people like that and says a lot of stuff she shouldnt
