i was surprised that Temptalia said that lime was hard to work with - i have found it to be really easy to work with

i already have other colours from the collection and would say that other mattes are worse than lime. weird!

Yeah. That's why it's most important to play with things yourself. Everyone fussed about Violet Trance, but I bought it at the last minute, out of curiosity and I adore it! When I'm interested in something, though I need to know yay or nay right away. Otherwise I obsess over it.

I HATE So Bad! Omg, you guys. It gives me nothing but glitter. It's not opaque on me at all. I tried two coats and it was all a glitter party. I think this is better for girls with lightly pigmented lips. So disappointed.

I was scared to try Brash & Bold, but it is definitely a winner!!! So, so gorgeous. It's hot! Red with all the shimmer in the world. You can rock this with very little make up and still feel glamorous. Opacity is tops. I don't recommend rubbing your lips together. These are very sticky or tacky, I should say. More so than lipglass. I can't tell you about wear time because I wore it for about 20 minutes and then removed it because it's so late. Glitter on my face wasn't a problem, but some shimmer remains. I'm trying to resist backing it up

I'm definitely going to check out Ban This! in the store. That's only b/c I am so disappointed in So Bad and I really want two of these lipglasses. I didn't bother to take a pic of SB, but there is one of B&B in the swatch thread.

Also, I'm trying sooooo hard not to get Crazy Cool, but it's calling me. I may cave when I go to the Mac store. I am also going back and forth on Aqua. Temptalia recommends it for dark skin, but calls it dusty or chalky. *sigh*

I'm sorry to hear about So Bad.

I hate it when the thing you are looking forward to most is the flop.

I think the UPS tracking is just being weird. On mine, it mentions delivery to some place in California, but the date is 10/09...It just seems like a weird glitch in the tracking system...

If the Dare to Wear Lipglass is categorized as special packaging, (and this is a new formula) I think the answer is NO.

I love Atlantic Blue especially with purples. It is so gorgeous. I am going to get Going Bananas and hope I like it. I don't have a true frost yellow, I have Rose Blanc and Goldmine and both turn gold on me, so I hope Going Bananas will be true.

I have this in the Manish Aurora Palette, but I just look at the thing, I've never used it, too pretty to.

Shontay, I had such high hopes for So Bad and like you, I wanted it to be coral not orangey pink.

Oh my, can you believe it is launch day and I have not been to the counter yet? I'm telling ya, this summer school break thing is really cramping my style.

I am headed there later this afternoon though, and am fairly certain that I will only come away with Sassy Grass. I have been dreaming about that eyeshadow!

I already own Sky Blue, Lime, Winkle and Free to Be. Love Lime, seriously LOVE it. It is one of my favorite, most used greens. It is a matte, but more like the Matte2 texture. Super easy to work with and blend.

I love Sky Blue too, but it's a tough shadow. It behaves alot like a lustre. It has silver sparkles it in and is kinda flakey, but the color is unique in my collection. It is very light, but with a good base and some packing on, you can get the true color. I use it quite a bit, and would definately repurchase if I run out.

I just got back from the mall and I got sassy grass (my MUA actually used it on me as a liner and it's so pretty) and I got Bold & Brash lipglass. It is gorgeous. She told me I should save some of it for the holidays since it's such a pretty, sparkly red!

I think I'm giving all this a skip, will wait for fall collections. I've got enough bright eyeshadows and have most of these anyways. I also am losing interest in super glittery lip products.

I honetly don't understand what skintone has to do with texture of eyeshadow. I could see ppl that are very dark or very fair being scared of super bright shades as they will stand out more on them, but the texture fear doesn't make sense to me

.

Mattes are just harder to blend and take more practice. I personally prefer to use a mix of matte and shimmers or I do all mattes, never all shimmer. I think the look is more sofisticated and has more dimentions when you use both regardless of your skin shade/tone. I'm light to light-medium, with neutral to cool skintone (NW25), mattes are just as versatiles as shimmers to me.

I called Mac today and they said that the UPS system is just not working properly and it was not delivered to any man. I should get my package by monday. I guess theyve been getting a ton of phone calls today about my same issue.
