Compared to Glossimers, these DtW glosses are thicker, more sticky and have bigger shimmer/glitter particles (but they don't feel gritty to me). These glosses are really opaque and the wear time is crazy long.

I think the Dare To Wear glosses are pretty close to what you would get if you mixed a Rouge Allure Laque and a Dazzleglass. They're awesome!

Ditto, I got this, too.

what base are you using? i use it with either bamboom paint or groundwork paint pot. i haven't tried with with other primers such as udpp, TF shadow insurance, or benefit's don't stray.

the red flecks are what i like about it. hoping to use it over flammable paint one day.

We get the collection here tomorrow, so I will go and check it out. I am sort of on the fence with a lot of the products, because part of me wants the fun bright colors, while part of me feels like I will be more into neutrals for fall.

As far as thickness goes for these glosses, I have only tried on Dare to Dare but I didn't glob it on and I thought it had a really nice, not at all thick or gritty feel to it.

I'm NW15. It should be showing up a little more, don't you think?

I don't have paints or paint pots- I just use UDPP. Though I have to say, after two years with it, I don't like it anymore. It doesn't really seem to do anything and I think it is too oily or something. I want to get a few paint pots next.... What would be the best one for NW15 as, like, a nude base?

I've never seen Flammable in person, but Shock-a-holic would look awesome over it!!!

Yeah I would think because I'm in between 15-20 and it's pretty vibrant on me. Now I used it this morning all over my lid and found I had to do two applications of it to show up. I had applied Iris F/L but it's all dried up and really no good so I think that's the issue. The other day when I applied it over the freshwater in my crease it took one coat so I think like was said you need a base for sure and not a nude base....something dark since it's a dark color. I think Blackground would work or flammable like was suggested. I might look for flammable when I go to the CCO this weekend. Do you have Black Track f/l? If so you could try that till you get a p/p just to see how SH works on you with that.

I put Bold & Brash over Creme d' Nude ... it came out a bold light fuschia color on me. Makes it pretty versatile.

although i do tend to wear darker and more neutral colours for fall i always wear brights at least twice a week - wearing the bright colours cheers me up in the cold months!

I actually don't have Blacktrack. I don't like Fluidlines.... IDK. I have the purple one though- violet something.

Maybe I will try it with that.

I've only used pp I think WITH UDPP. Does a pp alone work as well as a primer? I do find that with udpp, it keeps my colors from blending into one mutant color on my lids.

I've never used Fix+, so unsure on how that would help. For matte shadows, I just use the 239 or 272 (for the outer v) and a paint pot with a primer underneath. I pat the shadow on to pack it on and then sweep slightly to smooth it out. The paint pot/primer underneath makes the sweeping part easier.

What about the MUFE Aqua Cream?? They have a purple one

Oh, and yeah, try the purple fluidline too. Use the 242, 252, or 249 to apply.

PPs crease on me w/o a base, and I don't have oily lids, fwiw. I am using the Nars primer right now instead of UDPP b/c it's much slippier, it's great. I find with UDPP I have to work a little bit more when applying the pp.

Thanks, but I don't use MUFE, unfortunately. It seems they have a lot of great products, though.

And I will try the fluidline tomorrow morning....

Every oily lid person I know uses some kind of primer before a paint pot. That said, give it a try alone and see what happens. You might be the exception to the rule
smiles.gif

And you don't have to settle for UDPP, there are tons of primers out there. Nars, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Smashbox does one. Or you could just put on concealer and set it [very well] with powder. There are plenty of options, just pick one that will work for you.

One other thing, do you use eye cream? If you do and you put it on the top lid, you might not want to do that during the day. It makes lids oilier...

Yeah, I really want to try TFSI. Or, I may just go the concealer route. Once I finish the UDPP I have now, I will venture out.
