Eh, I don't really like TFSI. It was good at first but then it got all greasy at one point
nope.gif
Doesn't work for me. But I did try the Nars one! Amazing.

I have never tried UDPP yet though. I am waiting til they repackage those suckers.

Why is all the good stuff animal tested??? I've heard so many good things about the NARS one.

I think I'll just have to go the concealer-powder route from now on.

Thanks for letting me know that TFSI is greasy. Oily lids probably won't work with it.

For those of you with "gloopy gloss" issues with this line, all I can say is that you need to use less to start. This stuff will give you a lot of coverage even with a small amount. I just keep swiping side to side for a while until it all spreads. I add more if necessary. Anything excess I just kinda scrape off with a nail because it's bound to happen anyway.

Otherwise, I've been very happy with the staying power of this stuff. It doesn't smear out of place as easily as other glosses.

NARS test on animals?

TFSI is only greasy when it separates.. I found if you shake the bottle a bit before using then it's fine.

Well, tbh, there's so many conflicts in information now.. I've been trying to find out if MUFE test on animals for weeks, and there's nothing but conflicts

Same! All I see is varied info- no constants. I'm tempted to call their store in New York, but I don't even know if they would give me a straight answer.

I also see a lot of conflict with NARS, that's why I was confused.

I would, but I live in the UK = too expensive. I've looked on their website and there's nothing there.. and theres nothing on packaging as far as I know either.
Yeah, I've came across a lot of conflicts with NARS, but quite a lot of them who had it on their "do" lists weren't proper companies/charities etc.

From what I can tell, MUFE is taking the "don't ask, don't tell" route.

As far as Nars, what I can gather is that Nars is presently owned by Shiseido, who allegedly does animal testing, but Nars does not. That may be where the confusion lies. I don't actively read up on this topic personally, so I don't have anything definitive on either Shiseido or MUFE.

Ok, I'm done being off-topic now. How about those DtW lipglasses?!

I think I have a sample somewhere.... Maybe I will try it. I guess I can't judge it w/o trying it.

the dare to wear lipglasses remind me of the lilyland lip gelees but with more staying power, they have a similar texture, i think its the glitter combined with the thick consistancy, but the dare to wear ones are sticky as hell and the gelees just slip off, i'm not sure what to think of them. i think i prefer my lip gloss like the mac lip glass/ lustreglass

that being said, i only got brash and bold, and it looks gorgeous on, i just have to stop sticking my lips together every 5 mins, i like to rub my lips together when i have gloss on, with these my lips just stick instead!

i havent tried my shadows yet, its 10pm here, i will write a review after i have worn a couple on sunday!

I have very oily lids and I dont find TFSI greasy after you've rubbed it in and let it sit for a min however I do love the Nars smudge proof. You can go to PETA and they have a list of companies that do and do not partake in animal testing. Nars is not on either list but Shiseido is on the list of do animal testing.

I don't have paints or paint pots- I just use UDPP. Though I have to say, after two years with it, I don't like it anymore. It doesn't really seem to do anything and I think it is too oily or something. I want to get a few paint pots next.... What would be the best one for NW15 as, like, a nude base?

I've never seen Flammable in person, but Shock-a-holic would look awesome over it!!!

no, paint pots are fine. soft ochre or painterly should work fine for your skin color, they are mattes, no shimmer. bare canvas paint is a good one too. paints don't seem to crease as much as paint pots on me and i am very oily.

paint pots can be used alone and do make a difference in applying color for me. when i use them, i don't have to apply as much product to get my color to show up. I prime my lids first with MAC matte or anti chafting gel, then i use concealer, the final step is the paint pots or paint. layering is key for me.

Yeah, Shiseido owns Nars so the money still goes to the bad guys, just like with Body Shop the money goes to L'Oreal.
ssad.gif

I'm still waiting if we get this collection here or not. If we don't I will be shocked!

For some reason, Shiseido aside as well as animal testing, I've never really been too attracted to NARS.
th_dunno.gif
I had a few things, but I got rid of them because I wasn't in love. Maybe they're too mature for me, I don't know. I feel like everything is really serious. I probably wouldn't buy from them even if they weren't associated with Shiseido. I am more inclined to brands like MAC, UD, and MUFE (even though I won't buy them) because they have the huge array of fun shades.

PinkBasset: Still off topic, but is there a reliable list of cruelty-free brands that you use? I'd love to see it!
yes.gif

On Topic: I hope you do get this collection! I am loving the glosses and Sass Grass is
