clarins oils are basically just for hydrating and that's it. they do not leave color. i love clarins glosses/balms in the tube those are AMAZING
Ahh maybe I'll try the red one. I keep forgetting about that 20% offand how to use it. I am interested in seeing the MAC ingredients. I've been spoiled by oils, when they are filled with a bunch of filler and cones, I tend to pass by them. There are too many others out here that are not.I'd say it depends on what you want and what you didn't like. Like @Monsy said, I think these are definitely geared more towards moisturizing your lips.
For me, it was one of two lip products that have ever bothered me from fragrance. The pink also irritated rather than soothed/hydrated my lips. They carry it at Ulta now, so I waited for 20% off and gave the red a go...it was like a completely different product for me. The color is stronger with the red, but it's still pretty much clear.
I'm excited to see how these MAC ones perform since they look more pigmented.
Yeah, these are what I meant. I'm curious about them, especially as a summer release.
sorry i had no idea mac will release oils. i am excited to try them i hope they are really moisturizing. clarins weren't moisturizing enough for me.
I wrote all of these down from here:

Yeah, a couple posts up were the first I'd noticed, too. My Clarins works well as an out and about thing, but I wouldn't say it's rich enough to be an overnight treatment a la the Bite lip masks.
Since the MAC oils are being marketed for summer, I'm not sure how they'll end up. While my lips are generally rough in winter, mine can actually get more damaged in the summer if I'm out a lot. I'm also curious how pigmented they will be.
I will be making sure that I get those. The metallic lipsticks will supposedly also be available on March 23rd, or so I've read on Instagram.
I will be making sure that I get those.
Great news...starting this spring, MAC will be sold at Ulta!
