The runway look is inspired by Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra, and the collection will feature more paint pots in Electro Sky (a royal intense blue), Pharaoh (a creamy yellow green) and Otherworldly (a mid tone sea blue). They'll also be new shades of black kohl eyeliners, nude lipsticks and Lip Glass lip glosses and a golden bronze Mineralize Skin Finish. I'm excited, are you?
MAC's Alexander McQueen collection is available exclusively from Harrods in the UK on October 1st, as well as on the MAC website.

Did y'all see this???

I can't WAIT to get my hands on Pharoah! And Otherworldly... but I wish it didn't share the same name as the blush. Those look incredibly hot tho!

I thought the same thing. I do love the seafoam color though!

Do you mean the new Paint Pot colors are the same as the Pro Paint Stick colors? Or eyeshadow-wise?

I find this hard to believe. The descriptions of the colors and the runway photos don't look like the Pro Paint Sticks, at least not like any single stick. The closest to Pharoah would be True Chartreuse, but Pharoah I think has more yellow; Otherworldly would be Clear Sky Blue, but seems to have more green in it; and the nearest to Electro Sky would be Marine Ultra, but Electro Sky seems brighter and bluer. I can buy that they made these shades maybe by mixing paint sticks, but I'm sure they're not just Pro Paint Sticks in a jar. As for the shadows, those don't sound like any Pro colors to me.

MMmmmm thats helpful to know. I'll be prepared to do some mega swatching then when I go in just in case. I want too much from this collection and if I can eliminate any of it that would be nice.

the colors they used for the runway were pro paintsticks with pro aqua, bitter, and electrosky shadows layered on top. our training video didn't say what colors of paintsticks were used.

The lipstick looks pretty too, and I don't even like lipstick, I'm going to have to pick up one of those too 6(._.)

Oh dear... I'm going to be so broke. Thank you for showing those.

Where did you find them anyways?

I want it all. This is going to be the second time that I buy an entire collection. Good thing... i am not getting much from SS & BS. I can save money until 1 October.

Do you think it will sell out quickly? I am thinking it will here because it is only being sold in Harrods.

Haunting looks identical to the pro color that i have called aqua. hmm, So that crosses the shadows off my list, but those lipsticks, omg, I have to have them both and all of the paint pots!

That makes sense. I knew there had to be some combo'ing going on.

Yeah. I'm gonna have to swatch it to see if it's worth it . . . I use mostly mattes, but like to sometimes pick up correlating VPs to layer over without losing color integrity. So I wouldn't mind adding this to use to pop Aqua every once in a while.
