I would say put it on top of Bubbles l/s. And I have to thank Only1angel for this. I probably would have never looked at this l/s if I had not seen her looks she posted.

I really like Ever Hip on my lips by itself but I bought Bubbles to tone down a couple other lippies I have. Two in particular I wanted to tone down was Kiss Manish l/s from Manish collection and Purple Rite l/s from Syle Warriors. I ordered Kiss Manish for the packaging not knowing it was so freakin bright but Bubbles really helps. And when I got home I put it on and then Purple Rite and PR is so much prettier on me now.

Bubbles took that "OMG all I see is my lips" away. I may have to back this up so I can get some use from my brighter lippies that just aren't getting any love right now.

- I have to play with it tomorrow, but I am thinking...
Stone might work ? MA showed me a trick of using Stone + some greyish purple l/s (sorry forgot the name since more than 5 years ago) + Morning Glory and it was pretty.

I am sure it will look nice on you. It's my fave l/s, and I'm NC20-25.

hey hun,
if its not too rude to ask do you know where i can find someone wearing it thats my skintone? i looked at temptalias site it has a great swatch but its only of her lips and not her full face, so i cant get a accurate idea.

i'm nc20 and have peachstock. it doesn't wash me out at all. i have to use a light hand with it though or it looks a bit too orangey on me. but very nice lippie overall!

I'm also NC20 and I don't think Peachstock would wash you out. The reason I didn't pick it up when LoL came out was more because of the texture (which I heard is a little drying?) than the color. I got Freckletone instead.

Hmm, Peachstock might look a tad dark for NC20. I'm a NC25 (NC30 maybe now because the sun is peeping through
lol.gif
+ my fav blush Harmony) and I wear Myth. It's lighter than Peachstock. I do have a pic of me wearing Myth if that helps. I would try out Myth or Creme D'nude for NC20. Depends which "nude" you're going for really lolz.

PIC CLICKY!

LOLZ, don't mind my cam whoring-ness.

Holy snozzberries, Shell Pearl is sold out on the US site already! (As is the medium makeup bag, Blooming Lovely, Ever Hip, and Blue India.)

I hope I don't get an email saying I'm not going to be getting the Shell Pearl I ordered on Wednesday.

Tahitian sand as a matte finish and peachier(as in oranger) while shell pearl is frostier (though peachy) but definitely pinker in color and has a much frostier finish. I have both and they are different. Tahitian sand doesnt really cut it for me as a highlighter, but shell pearl definitely is.
This time around, Summer rose is gorgeous! its much deeper violet compared to barbie's pearl blossom and is definitely much prettier than the one from a rose romance which i skipped since it was chalky and gross.

Holaaa! Lolz I was the one who asked about Tahitian Sand and Shell Pearl.

Thanks so much for the pic babe!

But I will agree on the comment about Shell Pearl being the lighter/less glitter version of NARS Orgasm

I really didn't think I was going to buy anything from this collection. Nothing at all. Nope. I have seen all the swatches, read all the hype, but I said I wouldn't do it.....

And that, ladies, is what I get for "thinking"!
lol.gif

So here is what I bought today...

birds&berries
blue india
ever hip
perennial high style

I fell in love with the packaging. At first I was just like whatever about it.... but it all totally grew on me! I'm happy I gave in. haha.

It's really too bad that the makeup bags aren't good quality. The little makeup bag I carry with me in bag is starting to get a bit ratty looking, so I was thinking maybe this could have been my replacement. But from what I'm hearing it wouldn't probably hold up.

The bag is a little flimsy but for $30 you cant go wrong. I don't expect to last a lifetime, but i know i will get a few good years out of it or even longer if i take good care of it, plus i love love love the print!!

I wore Prim & Proper today with a bit of Shell Pearl on high planes of my face and a little on forehead with a fluffy brush. It looked very pretty and natural. DH said it's very nice but he couldn't detect any makeup on my face although spinning me around under the lights

That is great for office-wear. Shell Pearl has such beautiful microscopic multi-colored shimmers, reminded me of Smashbox Soft Lights, their typical pale peachy one in a duo pan. But Shell Pearl has a much higher level of sheen, just as I wanted so it didn't completely absorb into my skin by the end of the day.

Blooming Lovely is stunning, it's the shade I've been searching for since high school days when I had a very similar l/s.
th_worship.gif
I'd put it into the same family with Gaga l/s, both are cool with blue undertones and look amazing on. They are still very different to justify having both. If you have some yellowish peachy tones to your skin and cool undertones to your lips, Blooming Lovely might work just beautifully.

I also caved for Ever Hip and it's lovely! It's much cooler and pinker than Shy Girl or Ravishing, maybe similar to Creme Cup? It showed some strong fuchsia pink pigment on my lips over a nude gloss (reminded me of a very light version of Red Full-Stop when on). I'm guessing if you apply Lollipop Lovin', lightly dab some of the Red Full-Stop l/s over it and blot, you might end up with something close to Ever Hip color. I've been wearing Ever Hip with Scott Barnes l/g in Whisper, which is a nice and non-sticky dupe for PHS. Didn't like Ever Hip over In Synch, it was too whitish pale pink for me and looked messy dry. It mght work nicer over gloss or lip balm.

English Accents l/g looks very similar to an old Pink-a-Dot lip lacquer, a bit less lavender and less milky
drools.gif
Very close to BE Dani Buxom in color but Dani is too sheer. EA is also very similar to my fave Bourjois l/g in 19 Rose Synthetic, maybe a touch cooler in a tube.

Also, if you wear Gladiola over a sheer nude or sheer cool pink gloss, you would get that beautiful sheen of P&P l/s in no time
winkiss.gif
A pure hotness!

I didn't get Peachstock since I already have it. It's very pretty but I need to play with it a bit more, it doesn't look quite right on its own. Maybe with Naked liner or Ember Glow l/g?

Overall, LOL packaging is the best MAC ever created in the last few years, so classy and flirty at the same time imho.
choochoo.gif
Now, could we have some shiny hot flame yellow compacts that are not too orange, please MAC?
graucho.gif
Something like yellow marigold Harley Davidson edition or racing yellow checker-board
drools.gif
Maybe there could be a collaboration with Harley or NASCAR for some fierce biker-girl styles?

I think I picked up my current makeup bag up for free in a press room somewhere, so yes, for $30 you can go wrong.
