Okay....

So how does Summer Rose compare to other BPs, MSFs and other pink blushes?
Swatches for comparison are welcome!

And would SR look too chalky or too bright on NC30-35?

I'm between an NC30-35 and I love it. It's not chalky on me at all, and is a nice soft pink tone.

Thank you ever so much! I have the old one from A Rose Romance and just haven't been able to get the texture to work for me. Whippin' out the 109 next time!

Guys, I just cleaned up the jungle known as my makeup drawer. It took a good hour. I realized how much money I've wasted on things I never even used. I threw it in a bag and it's all going to one of my friends. She needs to build her stash.

Anyway, all that cleaning up made me think of items I had a hot and heavy love affair with and then tossed aside. Must use them again soon. I need to be WAY more selective with what I buy. I have realized what brands I prefer and what items from those brands that I like.

Totally off topic. Sorry, but I needed to share. If you need to clean your stash, do it and it'll make you realize you have to be honest with yourself and not get swept up into hype or overly happy (like me) when you have some extra $$$ to spend.

Woo hoo...I finally got to haul LOL today and it was a much larger haul than I anticipated, I must say...

I totally switched the l/s and l/g I thought I was getting. I caved and got Ever Hip and Petals & Peacocks. I passed on the lipglasses, because I'm saving for the upcoming stains.

I also caved and got Shell Pearl, although I might take it back. I will have to see how it looks on me. I must say, I don't like how the centre of the BP packaging is raised. The packaging for the BPs and blushes looked a lot cheaper in person, I felt

I also got: 2 Birds & Berries (one for me, one for mom!), Bough Grey, Prim & Proper, Blue India and the medium make-up bag.

So I just received my medium bag today.....I'm not convinced I'm going to keep it. It bugs me that it's relatively flimsy, and the fact that they're getting $30 for something that probably cost them $.05. I wanted to like it, but I'm gradually talking myself into sending it back. $30 back in my pocket.

What's to decide?

Great advice, Shontay! I have been collecting MAC since 2003. I go and visit a new collection, make swatches on my hand, and go home to see what I already have that is similar. If there is something that is really unique, or unlike anything I already have, I go back and buy it. This strategy saves me money and allows me to use neglected items in my stash! Birds and Berries is the only thing I am getting from this collection. Total amount I saved on this collection by shopping my stash first is $257.
