MAC Give me Liberty of London Discussion

I don't know I just find the mac mattes hard to blend and they kinda dissappear and smudge easily. They are very chalky. I use UDPP under all my shadows, and sometimes with ccb. I really only get Veluxe Pearls/Frosts from MAC.

I am a paintpot virgin, must try a paint pot!

I've notice MAC's mattes work pretty well with the paint pots. I use UDPP, then a paint pot (I really like Painterly), and then the matte shadow for smooth application and to really stave off creasing.

I LOVE mattes! I have almost as many MAC matte shadows as I do shimmery ones...I think my favorite thing about this collection is that we're getting a fair amount of matte eyeshadows AND non-lustre lipsticks

I feel like every MAC collection in the recent past has been of all lustre, glaze, and frost lipsticks-my least favorite formulas. I'm definitely going to drop some serious cash on this collection!

My fav Cremesheen ever is Modesty. But I haven't try Creme d' Nude yet, which I will this coming week (hopefully). Planning to B2M for Creme d' Nude.
Been trying to find the perfect nude lippie (NC20 and fairly pigmented lips). Still considering between Creme d' Nude and Shy Girl. Any recs?

The 242 is awesome with mattes- actually any e/s that are being difficult or don't have great color payoff, the 242 is the best brush.

I'm so ready for this collection. Feels like I've been waiting forever.

wore carbon all over the lid, violet trance in the crease and shroom as a highlight today. no problems blending, no creasing, no fading, nadda!

I am not sure exactly how similar, but I asked Erin awhile back, and she said that Dirty Plum is more purple. To me, VG looks like it could have lots of brown tones, depending on where you place your brush in the gradient. I am 99% sure I will skip VG in favor of Dirty Plum

I think you will like it! It's so creamy and lovely. Very natural, everyday kind of color.

I totally agree. I was wanting everything after I saw the picture of the packaging but once I calmed down and looked at everything, I might just skip the collection.

On me (NC25) Peachstock is the perfect Brigitte Bardot pale peachy-pink lip!

Pair it with some soft, smokey bedroom eyes and...
