BTW, what is up with MAC releasing Dirty Plum in two collections in a row??

I was going to pick it up from the Riveting collection, but now I will wait til this collection with the special packaging. It's kinda odd though, b/c the same thing is sort of happening with Free to Be e/s, where it's just barely released and then once again with this collection. Hmm...

Ive also thought about why MAC is promoting one item in collections so close together. Perhaps it hasn't been selling well or they have so many collections that they forget what they put in them.

I'm betting it's cause they just discontinued it in pot form at the pro stores, and they have to get rid of old inventory. Same with Full Fushcia. But I guess you can't use that logic for Free to be, cause that just came out.

plumage isn't a satin. its a matte.

The facecharts are great !! Love them ! Thanx Erin.
I really want Dirty Plum ! Maybe it's too dark for me but it's so gorgeous! I'm on a limited budget and I'm kinda confused. I want to get a blush ombre too. I really like plum, mauve, berry blushes and want Vintage Grape, but wonder if it is similar to Dirty Plum ... Maybe I should go for a different blush ombre, the peach one ? I feel unsure about peaches and corals !!

Oops. I don't know why I remembered it being a satin. In that case, is the texture of plumage the same to the pink matte eye-shadow?

i am getting my highlights done tommorow and i am thinking of going slightly lighter this time... had more caramel put in last time for winter so it looks darker than i'd like!

I'll eventually go back to the dark, but not as dark as before. I'm wanting to go to a dark auburn with a hint of burgundy in it.

Just to let you know Karin, red is a very hard color to maintain. it fades super fast. I had a awesome red color, but I didn't keep it just because of the upkeep.

Fortunately, I've got a bit of natural red in my hair...and I'm one of those people whose hair seems to hold color very well. Plus I use the shampoo and condition for color-treated hair, and I stay out of the sun! At any rate, I don't mind the maintenance...I got plenty of time on my hands, lol.

On topic...I neeeeeed swatches of Prim & Proper!!
