Wow, this is the most confusing cosmetic-related thing I've ever seen. I just sent an email to the Customer Service people, asking about the back-order status, the possibility of separate shipping, the possibility of a refund for the 2nd Day Shipping, what have you. I feel bad for them, I'm sure they're getting mowed over with questions tonight. I told them it's no hurry, though.
The one time I opt to pay extra for faster shipping, and it's all pretty much backordered, ugh!
I'm starting to get nervous though, that some of this stuff is honestly sold out. Like, notice it's a whole bunch of the most popular items seeming to show that out-of-stock circle. Are they really gone already?
Anyone who has ordered the products that still show a triangle: is your order status "Backordered" as well?
Oh, and anyone curious how to find the status out, go to your profile/account, check order status, and then at that screen, click on the numbers (it's a hyperlink) that coordinate with your Heatherette order. On the first screen, it will most likely say "Pending" next to the numbers.
But upon clicking, you'll be taken to a further breakdown, where you'll see an individual order status on each item in the order.
edit: The triangle/circle thing, I've printscreen'd for prosperity, so future generations of MAC fans reading this old post concerning "The Great Heatherette Mix 'Em Up of '08" will recognize I'm not some crazy cat lady just writing words that come to mind. I just want my lipsticks, and I have a lot of time on my hands.
