It sounds to me like even though they were moving the release up from the 27th to the 20th they were not planning on doing the usual thing of releasing it on the web site on the Tuesday of release week - only whoever is responsible for the web site either was not told that or forgot it. The poor people who answer the phone - it's surely not their fault and they're taking the brunt of it. They are sweethearts too! Just last week I placed an order and changed my mind. My order was not in their system yet when I called to cancel, so they told me they would cancel when it came thru and I could call later to make sure. Well, when I called later it had squeaked thru and shipped. I didn't act upset or anything, yet they immediately offered to call the package back from UPS (I saw it "out for delivery" on the UPS site the next day, shortly followed by a "delivery intercept" status) so I wouldn't have to pay the return shipping. I couldn't believe it. I think we have to give MAC a break on this Heathette mess up, because overall they really have outstanding customer service and their online shopping service is in general fast and flawless.
