Well the finishes would obviously be different, but I remember when the Pro update came out a while back, a lot of people said that India Ink was similar to Fertile, but with better payoff/matte finish. I've never experienced Fertile, but if Cassette is anything like India Ink I'll love it.

lol they are! i called in yesterday to inquire about my order status because it did not say pending on the website. and all i heard in the background was a sales associate getting all huffy telling her manger she was 'ready to kick her ass'...

i got my email today telling me that my order was backordered...no suprise...but mac did OVERCHARGE me for a few items though. and my receipt was completly messed up, they had forgot a few things that i had ordered. blah...i hope they clear it up tommorow and drop off the excess charge.

My hubby called my Mac counter while I was in the shower and asked if they could hold things for me till my appt on the 22nd. She was awesome she held everything I wanted which is pretty much everything she said she loves melrose mood and lollipop loving and even asked if we wanted to go in tomorrow and check out the collection and place it on hold in person. Too bad my daughter has cheerleading or I'd so be there.
So who is going to a heatherette event? And who is going tomorrow?

hey randy, cassette is pretty much the same as indian ink (except for the finish of course), the same as fertile, the same as au contraire. mystical mist is more blue, so i take that one back.

Well this is my post from yesterday (I say yesterday because even though it was after 2:00am I had not been to bed and my rule is if I haven't been to bed yet then it's still the same day. This got started several years ago when my sister and I started meeting in Vegas every summer and we would get in at 5:30am or 6:30am so that 's when we made our own little definition because we would call our husbands and they would be just gettng up) OK, sorry I strayed. I'm just a little ADD, can you tell? Anyway, I called the trainer that's always so nice and he just asked me to give him my list over the phone and he would be glad to hold it for me. So, I'm super excited to see the other items when I go pick up my stuff. I didn't get him to hold any of the pencils because I usually don't use them much but that purple one is so calling my name. So here's my haul:

But I think I will end up with a couple of the Sock Hop l/g. It looks so pretty in the swatches, especially over LL l/s. And I want to look at the new blushes. I think I want True Romantic for my NC15 skin.

i went back to check my confirmation email to look at the prices and i noticed that i saved some money on the dual eye pencils too

nighthawk/front row came up as $16; and
fab orchid/dash lily came up as $19.50

right now on the Canadian site, the liners are $20

pretty weird how they're both dual liners and there's a $3.50 difference in pricing when i ordered haha..MAC screwed up, but hey i'm not complaining! i need to save all the money i can

Blah well it's a new day and the site still says "processing".. Mind you I believe I've had times where I'd look on websites and they would say "pending/processing" then I receive the package in about half an hour lol.. Let's just hope that's the case heh

I'm hoping that Sock Hop l/g will be similar in color to Cleos Coral Kiss lip conditioner tint from the Disney line. I love that color on my lips. I remember thinking that it was such an awful color in the pot but was so surprised how it looked on the lips.

This whole premature release thing got me wondering if MAC will do what it did with Barbie and restock the web site, if certain items (Lollipop Loving ls and Sockhop lg, I expect) sellout quickly when they come back up on the web site. I really do think the demand on this collection is going to be greater than MAC anticipated. The packaging plus the colors are going to make it very popular, I bet. I hope that they consider restocking some of the lippie at the very least. I'm actually tempted to buy a couple of back ups of these and I promised myself, I'm not buying backup anymore.
