CantAffordMac, that's exactly what I'm gonna do. Grab the Style Minx for summertime when I'm more tan because the gloss is easier to pull off than the lipstick (I'm assuming, I haven't seen either yet..!).

But.. you could always buy it and swap it later.

well i checked everything out today and:

1. i was so sure i wanted black funk/pop blue, and i realize today i do not. the black funk liner is so smeary, which would be good except i already have smolder eye kohl and i don't need another version of it. the pop blue wasn't too great either, i was so sure that color was made for me considering i always jump all over teal blues, but i just wasn't impressed. i did however fall in love with front row/nighthawk. go figure.

2. 3D silver is the epitome of perfect, i love it far too much.

3. i bought my backup of jardin aires, haha.

4. cassette is so similar to thunder from the blue storm collection, is it not?

5. i don't think reusing cloudburst in trio 1 was necessary, does anyone else agree? i love moodring, don't get me wrong, but i can't justify spending $32 on a trio of eyeshadows and all i'll use is one.

6. THE ALPHA GIRL BEAUTY POWDER IS THE BEST BEAUTY POWDER I'VE EVER BOUGHT HANDS DOWN.

7. i was so excited about the she's bad lashes. saw them in person, and had to feel let down. they're neat and everything, just not for me.

LoL I'm such a makeup whore this month. I am newly single, bored, and I really really want to go out and PARTY. and this lipgloss color makes me feel like partying even more. Actually this whole line makes me feel like partying!!!!!!

Ok ladies so I went yesterday and had my makeover. I wish I couldve taken pics but still no cam and my blackberry puts a gray cast on everything. I love love love heatherette! I got both trios which are so beautiful, smooth harmony bp which she used as a contour on my nc 43 44 skin. I got melrose mood which is love! Pure love. I also got bonus beat which is like a gold cthru.I tried on flesh pot and knew I had to get a backup and starlet kiss as well. Together they make beautiful pale pink babies on my lips. Eww that sounded gross but oh well. I also got lollipop loving and I Hate it! Its ugly. It's like clear unless you put millions on and then all I see is an ugly nasty green cast on my lips.I wish I never got it. I also got phone me text me which I wasn't planning on buying but it's so pretty and lasy but not leas I got she's good lashes! So pretty can't wait to use them. Monday or Tuesday I should get my alpha girl bp and we'll see about that one. I'm going to try to take a quick video and see if I could use the still pictures from that to show you lovlies some swatches.

I agree-this whole line makes me in the mood for partying! I'm going out all next weekend and I'm gonna be rockin' my Heatherette makeup!! Can't wait!

I apply BPs with brush 134 all over the face or with 129 as a blush.

i think they different enough to have both. thunder has alot of blue in it, where cassette is definately a black purple. but that's just me.

i totally agree with the 129 for a blush and a softer brush like 134, 136, 150 or even 182 for all over.

My Heatherette Haul was way too big yet I am still thinking about adding more. Only got 2 l/s..Hollywood Nights and Lollipop Loving with back ups of each. I like the Lollipop Loving but am not in love with it unfortunately so I am putting my backup up for sale. Hollywood Nights on the other hand is amazing...

You'd be surprised how wearable a shade like this can be with the right 'accessories'!!! A few years ago, i bought Laura Mercier's Hydrangea lipstick unseen only to discover it was really a hot pink colour (not as bright as HN) but I dabbed it on like a stain and put some beige gloss over it and it was amazingly one of the most flattering lip colours i had ever worn!!! Haven't tried my HN yet but I plan on doing something similar with it! NC25, olive skintone for reference...

I posted this earlier in this thread, in agreement with another poster, that if you apply Sock Hop first, then apply Lollipop Loving over it, it looks so much better. When I first applied Lollipop Loving alone, I wasn't very impressed, because I have fairly pigmented lips. Applying Sock Hop then Lollipop Loving changed all that. Sock Hop's pigmented enough that is adds the color that the sheerer LL is lacking and applying it on top of Sock Hop allows all the lovely green and gold sparklies to show up. That's when I ordered my LL backup.

I also agree about Alpha Girl powder. I can't believe how flattering it is on me. I think it is about my favorite beauty powder from MAC yet. Perfect warm pinkness!

Okay, I've been kinda lurking on this thread mostly, but it's so fun to see others get as excited as me over this collection! I loooovvvveeee it. I really haven't been excited about any of the LE collections since I've started my MAC obsession (around September 2007), but this one is perfection. The colours are just so ME and I adore the packaging. Anyways, yesterday I went and picked up some things:

Lollipop Loving - I LOVE this colour. It's so unique! It looks like a beautiful peachy frost on my lips and shows up quite nicely. Very glittery and the green gives it a very intresting look.

Sock Hop - Wasn't planning on getting this as I really don't like the lipglasses because they always dry my lips out and leave a gross white ring around them (I can wear the plushglasses, though). However, it is just such a pretty colour and looks sooo good with Lollipop Loving that I had to get it! The nice thing is that it's quite pigmented for a lip gloss.

Melrose Mood - Wow, this can be BRIGHT. The nice thing about this colour is that you can make it shockingly bright or more subdued by just patting a bit of colour on. I don't really like bright, dark colours (like Hollywood Nights), so I like this because it is LIGHT and bright if that makes sense. It's really unique, too.

Black Funk/Pop Blue - I needed a new black eyeliner anyways and I loved the turquoise colour. Plus, it will coordinate nicely with Trio #1.

Trio #1 - These colours are gorgeous. I can't even describe Mood Ring - it's just so irridescent and beautiful. I really like the highlight colour, too. Can't wait to play around with this!

This was my biggest MAC haul ever and it's not even that big! I really wanted to get Flesh Pot, but I had limited money and Lollipop Loving and Melrose Mood seemed more unique. I even kinda want Hollywood Nights and I don't even like that kind of colour (my thought process going right now is similar to CantAffordMAC lol). And now I realllllly want Alpha Girl beauty powder. I even like the other lipglasses, even though I don't typically wear them. And Jardin Aires is really pretty, but I got a sample of it and I don't think I'll wear it enough to buy a full jar.

Same here! I adore light yet bright pink lipsticks, ie: barbie! I looovee Melrose Mood l/s... and does anyone else think it smells really good? Almost like vanilla-y or something... maybe thats just me as it's the only MAC l/s I have LOL

I passed on Melrose Mood, but got Starlet Kiss. Today, I am wearing Fun Fun l/s from the Balloonacy Collection with Starlet Kiss l/g over it. It is a more wearable color for me. It's a watered down version of Melrose Mood. DH LOVES it!

SO, if you have FF and SK, give it a try.
