I got my package today....I wasn't expecting it so early so I am SUPER excited! I only ordered LL, Sock Hop and Alpha Girl (proving to be the most popular products though!) and I LOOOOOVE LL with Sock Hop over top. I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I do, but I'm obsessed now. I love the glaze formula, it's perfect for someone like me who isn't that into bold colours. And such a perfect colour for spring/summer! I want backups but I don't know if I'll have time to get them

Yeah, at the time I posted about the video it was still available. Now it's gone; wonder if it went the way of the "Sandra Bernhard" 2006 MAC video.

I think there was a technical problem when the video was launched on the site. I don't know if anyone tried to buy anything in the time that the video was online, but I did... and you WERE NOT able to put items in your cart. I tried putting Trio 1 in my cart, and as soon as I put the quantity (1) and hit the add button to add it to my cart, it just took you to the top of the page... to the video. Nothing was adding to my cart. I tried putting other heatherette items in my cart, and same thing, it kept linking me to the top of page to the heatherette video.
So I think the video was taken down due to technical problems... because now that it is gone I could put items in my cart again.
Did anyone else notice this?

Just a tip to you ladies that I noticed last night, I put on Hollywood Nights and loved it but it was too dry on my lips and i needed gloss on top, i didnt get style minx but Pink Poodle looks AWESOME over Hollywood Nights.

OOO so, i wore the She's Bad lashes today. I was a bit iffy about them because they look so theatrical, but on they look awesome and don't look completely fake...surprisingly. I'm impressed.
I also purchased the Pink Pearl p/m and its the EXACT same colour as UD Fishnet....hmm I dunno....I put the p/m on today and JUST LIKE Fishnet it rly doesn't stay on very well. It's intense for like 5 secs then just disappears. It look so damn pretty on my hand tho....blahhh. w/e I'm keeping it. LOL
I wasn't all that impressed with any of the trios, l/s or l/g.
With the trios the colours aren't intense enough and with the lip products the colours are too intense. LOL

I love my Hollywood nights too and am glad I order a backup of it. I've been using a lip balm underneath and it seems to work well (no drying out of the lips). Thanks for the Pink Poodle rec. too. It's nice to know that there is something that isn't LE, that I can replace Style Minx with, when it's gone. Oh and I love the fact that HN isn't metallic. It looks even prettier than my Rocking Chick lipstick. I even got complements on my lips this morning at work which like never happens.
I would also like to register a formal complaint. Because of this thread and everyone's posts, I went back and picked up another Sock Hop. I also picked up the Front Row dual pencil as well. This is the most I've ever picked up from a MAC collection, including Barbie. So much of it is so pretty and wearable and the packaging is so cute. I'm sending MAC my paycheck in advance the next time a collection like this is released. It's just quicker that way.

I was trying out one of the dual pencils this afternoon but I only tried it out on one eye then forgot about it. So then hubby wants to run out later...we get to the mall & i realize i only had liner on one eye. hahaha

You're so right! I haven't bought this much from one collection since Smoke Signals and Blue Storm. I can't get over the packaging. Whether it's sitting on my vanity, on my desk at work or in my purse, it is so mesmerizing, pretty and lovely to touch. I'm in love w/the whole collection. Since I've had 4 days to play with the collection, I've purchased from a counter once and 4 times online. (I'm too embarrassed to go back to the counter so many times....LOL!)

I cannot stop buying from this collection! I must be stopped! So in addition to the $200 I spent last week on Heatherette I went back today and I picked up Style Minx l/g, Pink Pearl pigment and Bonus beat l/g. Ohh and then as an excuse to buy more stuff I bought makeup for my best friend since I owed her a b-day gift! I'm not kidding. I bought her two dual eyeliners, pink pearl pigment, trio #1 and style minx lipglass. Oh and and I had to buy another Rollickin from the Fafi collection. What is wrong with me???
