Sorry to the people who didn't care for this collection, but I loved it. It's the sort of collection that just puts a smile on your face when you look at the packaging. The two reviewers above did a great job describing this collection.
Oh and today I wore Trio 1 and it was perfection. I used Shiseido Hydro-powder eye shadow in Green Exotique as a base for Mood Ring and was so happy with the effect. I didn't want to use anything with a turquoise caste to it as a base, because I wanted it to stay the perfect green color it is. I wish MAC would release Mood Ring as a single. I love the other colors in the Trio, but can see blowing through Mood Ring very quickly.
Argh! I will not buy another Trio 1.

Yeah I'm with you on that. I love this collection and I can't stop blowing money on it. I'ts just such a fun collection. It reminds me of why I love makeup so much. yah, exactly! i just got my tax refund, and it's $100 more than i expected. that's why i'm reconsidering the palette. but i just know that if i go to mac again, i'll pick up a few other things and before i know it, the $100 will be leaving my bank account. i need to save my money for the new pigments coming out

so i was nuts and i went and ended up buying bonus beat and the gold reflects. i need to stop buying and save but i needed to buy foundation and concealer. i still need to buy fix+ and save up for the new collections that will be coming out. i loveeeeeee my trio 1 but i figure if i run out i run out and im not gonna buy any backups of anything. my counter still has everything in stock because they haven't had the event yet and it starts tomm. so it's gonna be crazy because they are having pro artists come in and do make up all wkend as well as the regular ma's. they only had 8 bonus beats so i just went for it. me and my craziness. i have no money and im still spending. haha!! talk about being addicted and needing a "fix".

Yeah, and seeing as how new collections keep coming out, I just can't keep up and I doubt I would use the back-up I had bought. I'm considering selling some Antiquitease back-ups now because of all this new stuff I have.

That's exactly how i see it!! There's always something new coming out so really no point in having backups. I would maybe only consider for the lipglasses because i seem to be using those more then my regular lipglosses now days but that's it. yeyyy...i can finally contribute to this threat. I got lollipop lovin l/s, sock hop l/g and alpha girl b/p yesterday. I love them all and the packaging is gorgeous. Now I start saving up for the next collection.

i got lollipop lovin l/s, sock hop l/g, and smooth harmony b/p. i also got a sample of reflects gold. i simply love the packaging so i gotta have some. i love all the 3 that i got so far and i don't plan on getting any more, as i already have similar e/s colors and lippies.

I WILL NEVER B2M these containers...NEVER! They are just too pretty
And the products inside are perfect, too.

Me too, gurl!!! I'm keeping the boxes too, lol. And also, I agree with you. So far, Heatherette gets the best packaging of 2008. Fafi was a big disappointment. (cheap looking thangs) I am anticipating on what could be better than the Heatherette pacakaging in the future for 2008. For some reason I dont think thats going to happen.
