I used water when I applied mine and it came out perfect. The color still looks vibrant after putting it on at 6am!

Ok.... that video was stupid- didn't make me want to buy Heatherette just based on that! Good thing for MAC that they didn't put that up before everyone had bought the products

I used it over the ArtDeco eyeshadow base and didn't have any issues at all. I find this base works a little better for me as opposed to using a paint pot under shadows.

I also tried Hollywood Nights finally, dabbed it on and used Chai lipglass over top. I love this combo.

I just got Lollipop Lovin'-I figured since it would sell out soon, why not-and it's decent. I love the glaze texture, it's a nice neutral so I have something better to put on the lips than the 800th Mentha lip shine I own. It's not my favourite though, but I love the shimmer in it.

I actually wasn't impressed by the Beauty Powders, I might get Smooth Harmony to try it as Alpha Girl was supremely underwhelming to me. I'm definitely getting a few items this weekend, in hopes of trying to beat the event, so to speak. The Nordie's at the mall I work at, as well as the flagship Nordie's (downtown Seattle) had everything still in stock.

I liked the video also. It was just so Heatherette, which I love. And Traver and Richie are just so adorable. They always look like they're having fun and I think that's what the brand is all about, just crazy wild fun.

I tried Mood Ring with Pop Blue underneath it as a base today and just wanted to let everyone know that it works quite well. Maybe not as well as a paint pot or something, but I put it on at about 8am and it is after 10pm and still very bright with minimal creasing and fading. Yay!

so I FINALLY got my shipment. After all that waiting and reading about Heatherette, it's here and I'm over it now.

That's the last time I order online.

The packaging is cute though. Maybe I just have to play with it a bit to appreciate it.

I can really see the green in LL. I'm not too impressed with Alpha Girl. It doesn't seem to add much colour or shimmer or anything at all.

I bought Trio 1 just for Mood Ring. It's kind of stupid, but I really liked the colour. I'll never touch Cloudburst, it's just a dull black... MoodRing was the only colour I liked in the whole palette.

has anyone ordered online from nordstrom? i placed an order for some heatherette lippies yesterday and i did recieve a confirmation email but they didnt charge my card yet is that normal or is it possible that they're temp out of stock or something?

Don't worry about it. Nordstrom online just takes awhile to ship compared to MAC. Also, you will be amazed to see that even one eyeshadow or lipstick will come floating around in a box large enough to hold a jacket!
