I was also wondering if they would re-promote any from this collection in the same year like they did with Comfort and By Candlelight (that was a bit disconcerting!)

Probably Star Wonder & Light Year.

Those seem to be the most popular.

Light Flush. It was repromoted, along with Shimpagne, in mineralize sets for Christmas a few years ago.

Office Hours will indeed be permanent yes :) I also never BU anything tbh, but i did with Venus l/s, i'm just in love with that shade :eyelove: I guess if you're really planning on using Earthly ALOT it's certainly worth a BU, once gone it's usually gone for good. Can't say anything about Fire Sign nor Pleasureseeker, didn't even swatch em in store, already decided i wanted Venus and Cut A Caper and i'm hoarding way too many lipsticks lately lol :whistle: And indeed, the msf's and blushes in this collection are just beautiful, what are your faves? :)

It's a relief Office Hours will be permanent.. I might BU Earthly then. You're right, it will probably never be repromoted again. I'm going to play some more with it and then decide.. CaC is soo pretty! I missed out the last time it was released but I'm glad I got my hands on it this time! It was the only lipstick I had on my to buy list but now I might buy Fire Sign or Pleasureseeker because of this thread! But I have so many lipsticks already, I'm an addict lol. I don't know what my faves are.. I haven't played enough with 'em yet! But so far so good!!

Richelle, can I see a swatch of your new Earthshine? The lack of gold with lots of brown and burgundy is exactly what I'm looking for...I acquired something close, but not quite it :(

Do the Lustre finish lipsticks typically get used up faster than the other finishes? From wearing Venus/CaC, it seems that even if I don't use them daily, I would finish them quickly just due to how I apply it, let alone re-touches. What about the CSGs? I may just be trying to justify a BU purchase....

I haven't really been using the HC MSFs with the HC blushes. Since the blushes have shimmer in it, it doesn't seem as necessary to use the MSF so I've been pairing the HC MSFs with my other blushes. Are people paring the HC blushes with the HC MSFs? If so, which combos do you like?


I can't recall any others but I kind of forgot about the Mineralize Semi-Permanent displays. Aren't the mineralize colors supposed to be in stock for 6 months? They recently changed the MES but I don't recall them changing the MSFs in the display. Am I right? Maybe some new Semi-Permanent MSFs are in the works.

I went to the MAC store AGAIN! and looked at the HC stuff AGAIN! Alas, I left them all there for someone else to drool over. I also swatched Cinderfella and decided to leave it as well. I was surprised that my all time favorite mb Lovejoy was still available. I may back that one up. I don't know yet.

I forgot about Light Flush. I have that one but I think I purchased that one during one of my coo crawls.

I did get that set that had Shimpagne in it though.

I was hoping that MAC would re-promote more msfs that way.

One can only hope for Metal Rock.

Today I took the advice of another poster and wore Earthshine with Stratus and Love Rush blush. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! or as my sister puts it: FREAKING CRAZY! Too bad Love Rush was dc'd.

I think originally it was so supposed to be 6 months but it seems like it has been longer lately. But I don't really know. I like Cinderfella but I don't know if it's a must have. It doesn't seem that unusual to me anymore. But I'm just getting into dark colors especially blacks. I don't have many. I don't even own Carbon which is strange since supposedly they keep putting it in all the palettes. I own a lot of palettes but it isn't in any of them. I'm really enjoying Dark Dare so I haven't really been using Cinderfella and when I need a dark or black shade I use that or a blackened shade with a coordinating color (color with a black base) like the other
Style Black (refreshed!) eyeshadows.

I got my replacement Earthly from MAC! It's really pretty and arrived in one piece! Thank god! It doesn't have as much dark brown as I would've liked, but hey I won't be choosy considering it ISN'T a dust explosion in a box! HeeHee

Uh, I don't recommend doing that lol. This is my biggest haulage ever! No, I didn't buy all this at once and this is spaced over 2 paychecks as well. I made a total of 5 purchases the last being the MES's and FS and CaC. I almost didn't get CaC and am so glad that I didn't skip it. I have used all but Stratus, Sky, and FS so far. Everything I have tried is amazing so I expect the same out of the 3. I will work on wearing them very soon. If anyone got this far thank you. I just love looking at swirls so I figured you guys wouldn't mind me sharing my new babies.
