at least I don't think I did...But I have not given up on defeating the fallout!!

specktra forums are back..

i checked out this collection today and honestly not much stood out to me. i really like one of the lipsticks though. utter fun i believe, but as far as a bright pink lipstick on me goes.. i decided to pass. seemed pretty pigmented [swatched on hand] to me, not sure how good it'd show up on the lips though.

the MA did a look using blue sorcery, she used the blue on the inner and outter corners and a lighter color in the middle. i thought it looked pretty.

as far as the things that i did pick up, i got boy bait and she-zam. idk if it's my eyes or what, but for she-zam i notice the silver pigmentation on my lips, even though it's really sheer [of course, it's a dazzleglass] you can see it, and how many silver lipglosses can you say that about? i really like it. not to mention the pink glitters are gorgeous to top it all off. boy bait.. now i know why everyone loves this. PERFECT color. awesome milky pink..

^^ Utter Fun is very pigmented and so beautiful it is a Red-Hot Pink....so lovely....I haz a crush on Utter Fun!!

MM looks nothing like Satin Taupe. MM is a really rich dark charcoal brown with a lil shimmer

I've gotta work up the nerve to do another youtube tutorial. The first one that I did sucked.
But according to thespnations tutorial on Gilt By Association and Young Punk I am determined to make them work when I try them

Yay, we're back! I broke down and bought Midnight Madness and It's a Miracle as a little present for myself since I got braces yesterday. That's right - I'm a 28-year-old with metal braces and purple bands...and with the little bit of breakout I got goin' on, I look like a teen that's been rode hard and put away wet.

I'm not knocking you by any means. I wish I had gotten braces year's ago, myself. Better to feel like a teenager now than be stuck being unhappy with your smile.

Nope, guys. Gentle is paler and lighter than Conjure up and Conjure is berry plum, swatched.

Ok, I tried on each cheek. Conjure is a berry plum that is warm on my NC50 skin but Gentle is more cooler and I can tell the difference, Gentle I would wear with blues whereas with Conjure up, it would be too warm.

So I thought Conjure up was cool-toned but it's not. Mac should get these descriptions together and on my screen the model for the collection has on this blush and you can see the true warmth and gorgeous sheen without the glitter factor.

I am going to stop enabling. I am zipping it.

That made me spit water all over my desk! Too funny.

I'm sure you're rocking the braces! How are they feeling? I've been thinking about doing the same thing for a while now (I chickened out when I was a teenager) but me and dental things are a terrible combo. I had to have a root canal when I was really little and it was so traumatic and terrible, it totally ruined me for all dental work...I even like to be sedated for cleanings. I'm such a wuss.

Agreed...with a slight purple tinge. Here are comparison swatches. Inglot P434 e/s appears to be the closest match, but even it is a bit more charcoal-tinged.

Not gonna lie...my teeth are sore today. I didn't really notice it earlier today, but I hit up Taco Bell for lunch and the minute I bit into my crunchy taco I was regretting it (not the taco - it was delicious, albeit painful). Advil helps, but doesn't dull the pain completely. This is my third time having braces and from my experience, the first couple of days after tightening are rough, but after that things are fine.

Long story short, I was born missing a tooth and another one is puny. When the corresponding baby teeth were pulled, my two front ones grew in with a big gap, so that was corrected with the first round of braces. The second round was to pull down an impacted tooth. This time is to correct shifting that occurred when my wisdom teeth came in, and to finish what the second round of braces didn't accomplish so that I can get a dental implant for my missing tooth.

I didn't get it because I was scared it would turn out orange on me. I do have the other 2 but I didn't know how it would compare.
