MAC Items Being Discontinued (DCd) in 2010 Discussion

I refuse to believe they are discontinuing handwritten! I love that eyeshadow!

Is Gold pigment gone??? I don't see it anymore on the MAC Pro website?
Is it a glitch maybe? Can a pro member or someone going to the Pro store soon confirm?

I haven't tried Handwritten, but I've always wanted to - maybe I'll pick that up soon if it is indeed going to get the axe.

I might grab Red Brick, too. Anyone know how similar it is to Firecracker?

Not similar at all - red brick is sort of a muted red, and firecracker is a deep pink color.

i hope handwritten isn't getting chopped but when i asked for it in pan, they were out..and had been out for a while so i could only get it in pot. i haven't seen the triangle of death next to it on pro so i guess keep your fingers crossed. i wish mac would come out with more matte2 es.

I placed a MP order recently and the gal didnt know until she checked that all the cryst. glitters had be D/C

Sad seeing so many items go

Glitters I dont care for but a lot of the other items are some of there best sellers, it doesnt make sense....

Did you order them from MP Canada? I am looking for getting some jars as well but MP US doesn't seem to have them anymore. So maybe MP Canada does? Do you pay taxes when you order from them?

I KNOW. I think I LITERALLY made this face O______O when I saw it in this list. I thought I would buy another one once I used mine up but I guess I need to get a backup of it now, huh?

Does anyone know of any good matte shades close or similar to Handwritten?

Edit: I just went on MAC chat on their website and the MUA said that they did not receive any word Handwritten would be discontinued. *shrug* Well, if it happens, it happens, I suppose!

Gold and rose gold metal pigments being discontinued?

Anyone know if these have been discontinued as they've disappeared off the pro site, they are on the MAC uk site but they're showing as sold out
