MAC - Love that Look Discussion

^Me too. Usually I don't get backups of eyeshadows. I got a backup of Silverthorn e/s and I don't know if I am going to hit pan with it yet. I know for sure I'm going to hit pan with Style Snob and run out of Black Russian.

I was very bad and now have 15 out of the twenty Starflash eye shadows released. I also managed to find a Wolf pearl glide at my CCO. I'm tempted to head back to my counter and just get the rest of the Starflashes, so I can quell my OCD need for these shadows. Drat those pretty shiny things!

Do Unbasic White and Strike a Pose look ashy on darker skin? i managed to try it on my hand, but didint think of trying it on the lid

I'm NC45 and they don't look ashy on me. Today I'm wearing Unbasic White on my lids and it looks great.

I love the liners as well. Im thinking about getting a backup of Black Russian and Molasses.

Strike a Pose is definitely not ashy on darker skin. But that, I love it.

I haven't picked up unbasic white yet, but other darker girls love it.

I got backups of Style Snob, Unbasic White and Smoke & Diamonds. Those three shadows alone are insanely beautiful together!

Ladies, I got BR & Rave Pearlglide liners, these are my first Pearlglides, how do I sharpen these? Can I use the regular eyeliner sharpener?

Argh, I forgot to check out Black Russian when I was at MAC tonight

I went to get Rated R, but it was sold out... so I debated between One Off and Smoke&Diamonds, and went with S&D. I have so many greens already, I was worried it'd look like something I already had... now I wish I got it. *sigh*

^^ One Off was nothing special to me, but then again I am not a lover of greens..I did pick up Rave & Black Russian, yayyy!

I have SAP, Style Snob and the S&D repromote and I couldn't be happier with how nicely these swatched side by side!

Style Snob, in particular is a GORGEOUS colour. I feel like getting a backup but I know by then, judging by how fast everything keeps getting released and the way the market looks today, MAC will have probably come out with some viable dupe with an even better finish... And if not, then my Sweet Chestnut from COC is doomed anyway.

S&D is about the only grey that works for me. I love warm greys! There needs to be more! For some reason, S&D is the only one out of this collection that feels luscious and creamy when i swipe it from the pot.

SAP[/b] is this gorgeous, gorgeous metallic blue with a tinge of green that i am also very happy with. I don't do too well with cool blues, but the little greenish tinge in SAP brings out my eye colour like WHOAH!


I also purchased Unbasic White for my sister and it has done WONDERS for her eyes.
Overall, I am so so happy I owned my bank account to get a hold of these.

I'm currently rocking Style Snob with Spiced Chocolate in the crease and S&D blended slightly above it. I look expensive 8D

With a better finish than Starflash.....is that possibe?
