This is an example as to why they shouldn't do that! I went to my MAC counter the other day to get artistic license (I know this thread is for LTL) and saw it on the display. So I nonchalantly picked it up and told the MA I would like to purchase it. Well 15 minutes later I was looking at my purchases and realized it was Smoothblue she sold me, not artistic license. I went back to return it and the MA acted really pissed that I didn't notice. She could have at least said something, like "you know his isn't artistic blue, right?"

Yeah that's not right! We're snt those stickers and every location is suppose to be using them. They aren't suppose to sub a perm colour in th displayer but they can recommend a perm colour.

On me (NC30) they are not alike at all

Sliverthorn is warmer with a greenish hint gorgeous

Fashion not as much, on me it was cool with blueish hint!! If you are warm skinned I think you can skip it

I wore fashion groupie for the first time with buckwheat from naked honey. It was a very simple look, but it was sooo gorgeous. The color just glides on and it's really flattering to my skin tone. The only other shadow I bought was glamour check, which I've worn a couple of times and also love. The other colors, I have similar ones from mufe and nars. I really love rated r, but I have the nars rated r duo and I don't wear that one an awful lot, so I didn't feel the need to get mac's rated r.

Ok so I wore Style Snob, Fashion Groupie, and Unbasic white today with Rave pearlglide (looked awesome!)....so glad I got these colors! I'm debating if I should back some of these shadows up or not lol I already did the liners because those are such a great formula so I should be set on those for a while. The shadows tho I need to ponder on..

yeah the liners are godlike. i backed up black russian and i migth have to get more. they are my HG! i swatched a lot of liners at sephora but none of them carry the shimmery goodness of black russian........ and the stay power is awesome

yep, I see the "sold out" sticker at my counter regularly

Oh crap... speaking of which this collection launched here yesterday!! for some reason I was thinking it was next week but it wasnt... I will have to take a trip into town tomorrow

Really? Corporate told my counter to not use those stickers and to substitute permanent shades for sold out shades, and we must always keep the units filled if at all possible. They haven't sent us those stickers since Hello Kitty. I have noticed the Pro store in NYC substitutes as well. Maybe only certain regions do it? We were told not to, it takes away from our image or something. o__O

I love the Pearlglides!

On me they have amazing staying power and the colors are rich and fab! I'm really looking forward to trying Fly By Blue with that blue/grey quad coming out in the Fall Trend collection. I think that could be great!

My love for Starflash remains as strong as ever...this formula is just perfection. For next year, my wish list for new shades:

Black (as mentioned earlier by babylard I think!)
Violet Trance-ish shade
Scarlet Red (omg!!!)
Pure Gold (maybe 18k color?)
Dark Forest Green
Burnt Orange

What about you guys, what would you like to see next year?

A gold starflash would be wonderful!!!

I want to see, Starflash or not, a shimmery mint shade, an apple-cider kind of green, a henna-ish greenand a forest green.

I just love greens. Dark purples and metallic copper/oranges would be nice too.

I love Sunset B. The first pink Mac has put out that I actually like on me.

DaBling is frosty on me, Swish is too frosty on me as well, but Sunset B over Girl friendly paint pot with Fashion Groupie is great.

i never used to like my sunset b - it would never show up bright enough on me even though i'm really pale so you'd expect it to go on ok. then i bought red velvet shadestick and it makes the colour so much more vibrant! i actually like it now!

I would also like to see black and gold and mint green shades in starflash finish. Scarlet red sounds so yummy too! Coraly shades are always welcome, as well as pinks. And a medium caramel brown. I want a shade that is like bitter or sour lemon, but even more sour! Like sour green candy topped with sugar!

Oh and I totally agree with Camnagem - Violet Trance in starflash finish? Now how cool would that be!

Okay, let's just have every colour there is in starflash... I'm not greedy at all?
